looking for speaker mounts harnesses speaker to factory plugs etc. no one seems to have 2022 or 2023 listed. crutchfield has nothing as well as Amazon and other car audio supply sites and i feel like taco tunes is way over priced most of there stuff

i originally partially signed for a 23 Tacoma to lock in the holiday promotional rates and had ordered trail grids kicker amp kit when it was on sale for Christmas(mostly universal parts in case the tacoma fell through which it did) but over a months later the dealer shows Toyota reporting that the truck is missing/stuck on the port and decided to get there last 23 tundra instead before the all there 23's were gone and only 24s available since our current tacomas lease was up and had a bad used interest rate making it not worth keeping sadly(think my wife got b.s on that one too but oh well she insists she knows better than every one .

is there any chance that the harness that came with the amp that goes from amp to the factory wiring still work taco tunes said no but at the same time the part number on there site for tacomas and tundra seems same for the speaker harnesses and the 12v accessory power harness. id rather just buy a $10 tacoma speaker harness( that seems to be identical to tundra) and the wire i already have(or the $20 for the 8 wire)then spend $70 for taco tunes harness

also is stinger company dead cuz i dont seem so see any new units. i would like to order one at some point because other than wireless android/car play and hd radio the tundras 8 inch radio really sucks compared to the tacomas

thanks for any help that can be provided.

Did you check out this thread? I haven't done any upgrades and don't plan to but there was a lot of info in that thread.

Just starting out but never will be done
I had a 3rd Gen Tacoma '21 that I traded on my 24 Tundra. I had aftermarket speakers and amps in it. I removed everything but the speakers when I traded it in. I was in the same boat, no aftermarket support for a truck that's been out for 3 freaking years :facepalm:I can tell you that if you have a non JBL system, all of the speaker harnesses, speaker adapters, and the amp T harness are exactly the same EXCEPT the dash speakers. I wasn't able to find that one and ended up cutting the plug and soldering my connections there. It also seems like the speaker wires in these trucks are all aluminum as it took me awhile to get the copper soldered to them.
If you order from Crutchfield just put in your old Tacoma when buying speakers, they will give you free speaker adapters and speaker harness plugs with your purchase!
    Here's the part #'s
Metra 82-8148- these are for the rear door speakers
Metra 72-8110- these will come for the dash speakers, but the plug is different, however this plug is the same in te rear doors for the woofer/tweeter combo in the door
Metra 72-8104/Metra 72-8109- can't remember but one of these will work for the front door speakers
Metra 82-8146- 6x9 door speaker adapters
PAC LPHTY02 LocPro Advanced T-Harness- this allows you to replace the radio or add aftermarket amps to the OEM radio without cutting the oem wires

I have the non JBL but I did buy the OEM JBL A Pillars so I could use a 3 way setup. I used all JBL Stadium Club series speakers and there was plenty of room for both crossovers in the dash under the 3 inch midrange to stuff them down in there. Hope this helps
