Any of you that own this truck, how is that saddleback leather holding up esp. in drivers seat? I owned an older 5.7 Tundra with the same color interior and it held up great but wondering about this new higher end leather.

Any photos of drivers seats after some usage?

What product are you using to clean this custom leather and not darken it?

the regular 1794 should wear well...the LE will last forever with proper care...but will develop character over time like a good saddle

I was looking at that saddleback custom leather model but was concerned that the leather would get all scratched up sliding in and out and having my golden retriever in the vehicle.

The regular 1794 (non limited edition) leather looks like the leather in my old truck which held up really well with just light washing with dawn/water and sometimes a leather cleaning product.

It seems that the limited edition model would require some special cleaning products to keep it clean and also not darken it. Anyone have it that could comment on what they use to clean it and how it has held up? Love to see photos!

Mine looks the same as the day I purchased the truck. Seats are softer but no wear. Granted it’s only 5k miles. I personally love the interior.

leather milk is the product to use. Saddleback products last a long time. They age with character.

This is me exactly. I have the leather milk but haven’t used it yet. I’ll let my guy do it the first time when he refreshes the ceramic coating. I do love the truck and interior!!

hey bonginator the LE has only been out 6 months...your question will be more relevant in 6 years...nothing special needed other than a little quality leather care every 6 months to keep it nice

I got a 1794 with the off white leather, no issues with animals and children.

Same for me, no visible wear and I just rolled past 2k on the 1794 LE I bought back in the first week of June.

This is not entirely true. You killed the animals to get the leather.

4,300 miles and still looks brand new. No visible "character" developing, but it has started to feel a bit softer and broken-in.

Mine has about 5k on it and the leather looks brand new of course. Agree with other comment that it is breaking in a little but not a lot. Difference between this car and every other one I have owned is that this one did not have new car smell - it smells like a well taken care of tack room full of top quality leather saddles.

I have used Lexol cleaner and conditioner forever on my leather interiors and it works good enough for me not to try anything else. This leather is thicker than anything I have ever owned so I expect it will last great.

    best,
    jg
