2024 color questions (door handles, badges, etc)

Hello,
I am looking for a '24 tundra with the TRD off road package. I would prefer the limited trim and the lunar rock color. I don't love all the chrome that the limited trim normally has, but I've been playing around on the toyota website building different options. When I build a 2023 with the TRD off road package there is still a decent amount of chrome left in the picture (mustache, door handles, window surround, badges). When I build a 2024 limited - once I select the TRD off road package, it removes all the chrome from the build - (mustache, badges, door handles, window surround). I'm hoping that this is just how toyota does it now. Does anybody know if this is the case? First picture is the 2024 (the way I'd prefer it to look), second picture is a 2023.

Do all the TRD off road packages also come with the nightshade package?

I may have found one coming to a dealer 150 miles away from me in December, but some of the information in the "vehicle details" is contradictory and doesn't make sense.

 

24 limited off road has full chrome delete. Hallelujah! Also digital gauge cluster. A pleasant surprise. I have been researching. Mine should arrive any day.

 

I don’t believe it is a nightshade option either. All color matched or black. Saved you the better part of 2k

 

Looking at the "vehicle details" on a truck that is coming to a dealer somewhat near me it is a bit confusing:

 

i thought the same thing before i picked up my lunar rock 24 limited offroad but like a few mentioned. there is no is no chrome saved me the trouble of replacing all the trim

 

I have personally witnessed a similar trimmed 24 off-road in black at the dealership that confirms the chrome delete and digital gauge. Only have exterior pictures to share. This was last week at Beaverton Toyota in Oregon.

Did your truck end up with nightshade package or chrome? Just noticed my paperwork says same thing as yours but I thought TRD OR package automatically blacks out and color matches?

 

picked up my truck and it had nightshade by default. The brochure mentioned chrome but the details on the TRD off-road package specify the color matched and black pieces.

 

Yes, if you have the Limited with the TRD OR package, it blacks out and color matches most badging and trim. The TRD OR and Nightshade are separate packages so you'd only have one or the other.

 

Can confirm ‘24 limited trd or is color matched.
