I have a 2024 SR5 with the TRD sport package. Do these had the LED daytime lights, it looks like just the normal headlights that are on as the DRL’s. I know the later year 2nd gen’s had the LED lights. You would think a $60k 2024 would have more than just the old fashioned DRL headlights!!

From what I've read, all new 3rd gen Tundras have LED headlights. Which means that the DRL's should be LED because they're not separate lights. Also, there seems to be two variations of the LED headlight housings - Reflector (standard) and Projector (premium).

I think what the OP is trying to say is that while DRL's on 3rd gen are LED they're not in the way the 2.5 gen Tundra or 3rd gen Tacoma was - accent LED light on the bottom or top and bottom of the headlight housing - just low beam as a DRL instead.
Up here in Canada even Limited doesn't get premium lights.

You’ll have the top headlights. I believe the indicator is a halogen bulb. But it’s a bulb none the less.

So basically 2010 style but with LED lights, not the LED strip like every other vehicle made past 2015. Disappointing but not surprising.

    Yep.
I’m sure it convinces people to buy higher trims.

Even though every other manufacturer, it seems, to offer it standard on all models…typical Toyota.

Not really. f-150 nor Silverado lower trims don’t have them… they ever have halogen headlights… so this isn’t even close to true. Lol

While you are right, lower trims of other brands don't have the LED DRLs, the point is 2021 Tundra SR5 had it so obviously Toyota took a step back and do not offer them now.

What I do know is almost every car on the road has them nowadays and you can’t tell me ALL of them are higher trim models!! My wife’s Honda Pilot has them and hers isn’t top trim…so this IS close to true

Curious how some people who have third gen tunders have amber daytime running lights but mine are white. I have a 2024 Tundra Platinum hybrid.

That has to be an aftermarket option like Alpharex.

No one had LED headlights in 2010. Your HI/LOW/DAY and lower driving lights are all LED. Just your front turn signals/running lights are regular incandescent bulbs. All side running lights and tail lights are LED. I like how these headlights black-out during the daylight when off.
