Wanted to showcase my 2024 SR5 TRD Offroad. This has been everything I’ve done over the course of about four months of ownership. I’ll try keep this organized into sections.

    Suspension/Wheels/Tires:
Cognito Motorsports ball joint upper control arms
    - I chose these because I wanted a UCA that was silent and maintenance free. These use OEM style ball joints and bushings.

Fox Performance Elite 2.5 DSC remote reservoir coil overs and rear shocks.
    - I’m generally happy with these, I had Kings on my previous truck and I prefer them more. In hindsight I wish I went with Kings again. I may swap them at some point.

Icon triple rate 1.25” rear springs
    - These ride great, I’m just about 3/4” taller in the rear. I may swap these for the exact same in the 0.5” lift height to level it out completely.

DR KDSS bolt on track bar correction kit (BOTCK)

Horn (body mount) chop and lots of trimming to fit the 37’s

Method 316 17x8.5 0 offset in matte black

    Yokohama Geolander G003 M/T 37x12.50r17

I also have a full-size matching spare and will have a bed mount set-up which is currently being fabricated for me by JDS Customs. This will also incorporate a Badland offroad jack in a Grove Fabworks cradle.

    Exterior:

Removed TRD bedside decals; SR5, Tundra door, and 4x4 tailgate emblems

Added black Tundra tailgate letter inserts

Window tint; 5% on all door and rear windows, 50% on windshield

    Toyota OEM TRD running boards
    - I’m not a fan of any running boards but I needed it to be easier for my kids to get in. I find these to be the least offensive option.

Toyota OEM black rear bumper inserts to replace the chrome insert’s

Toyota OEM grill surround (mustache) paint matched by paintedoemparts.com

    Toyota TRD engine skid plate

Black Toyota grill emblem overlay from Etsy

    Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover

Baja Designs 20” S8 light bar with Tundra specific mounting kit, yellow lens, OEM grill section cut out

Baja Designs Squadron Sport ditch lights with yellow lens and Cali Raised ditch light brackets

Premium Auto Styling yellow fog light lens film

    Toyota Black Chrome exhaust tip

    Interior:

Replaced cloth interior with Katzkin leather in the OEM Match color that they offer.
    - Way better then the cloth interior, very impressed with the whole process

Vinyl wrapped various interior trim pieces with VViViD Shadow Black Medium camo pattern. I chose this color/pattern because I felt it complimented both the factory black and factory silver trim pieces.
    - Shift console and door panel inserts came pre-cut from The OCD Plug
    - Dash center bar trim was removed and wrapped off a roll of matching vinyl purchased from Amazon
    - Climate control trim and parking brake trim are black overlays purchased from Amazon and wrapped with the same vinyl before installing

Husky Floor Liners with custom TRD Offroad emblem inserts
    - The custom emblem inserts came from Etsy

Black steering wheel Toyota emblem overlay from Etsy

AJT Designs oversized cup holder, center console tray mats, and black door handle covers

Oversized radio knob from Race Ready Mods
    - highly recommended, way better then the tiny knob on the 8” screens

    Upcoming and future mods:

    Purchased, just waiting to receive
    - Tig Welding Creations Exhaust
    - Banks Pedal Monster with iDash gauge and single gauge pillar pod mount
    - Spare tire bed mount bracket by JDS Customs

    Future Plans
    - Baja Designs S2 SAE yellow fog light kit
    - Backwoods Adventure Mods rear bumper
    - Possibly a covert/low profile style front bumper; currently considering C4 Fabrication or CBI. Needs to be able to mount/retain the 20” Baja Designs S8 light bar currently installed
    - Possibly swap to King 2.5 front and rear; if doing this I’ll order a tuned set from Accutune Offroad and also do a set of King rear air bumps and King sway bar links to tie it all together

Just installed a Banks Pedal Monster with iDash. Install was pretty straightforward.

I really like the Pedal Monster. I started on Sport 2 and it felt really good but decided to tone down a bit and settled on City 7. What’s nice is with the iDash, you can adjust it on the fly. You just have to let off the gas while making the adjustment but don’t have to be stopped.

The iDash is great. Like I said before, being able to adjust the Pedal Monster on the fly is great. I currently have it set with half the display for the Pedal Monster and the other half with three additional items to monitor. I’m initially going with transmission temp, turbo boost (since my analog SR5 cluster lacks this) and speedometer. The reason for speedometer is because the unit can correct for tire size. You enter the original and new sizes and it displays corrected speed. I like that a lot with the 37’s.

Full-size 37” bed mounted spare set-up. I like chase racks but wanted something that would lay flat so I could keep it covered under a tonneau cover. This set-up seems popular with Raptors and I found a shop that would make one to the Tundra dimensions.

The main piece is a horizontal Badland jack mount from JDS Customs. This piece is the exact width of the forward bed mounting bolts and utilizes those to bolt the mount to the bed floor. This mount has a D ring mounted in the center for the tire tie down strap. The mount is designed for a Grove Fabworks Badland jack cradle. Additionally from JDS Customs are two separate bed bolt mounted D rings, placed under the middle two factory bed bolts.

The second piece of the set-up is a Badland jack carriage from Grove Fabworks. Like I previously said, this bolt directly to the JDS Customs mount.

The last piece of the set-up is the Y style tie down strap from Alpine Offroad.

The whole set—up is completely bolt on, no additional holes needed to be drilled.

Nice build. I like the camo wrap on the interior pieces. Great idea.
