Can anyone confirm that these are powered both for extension and folding? It’s on a truck that was just allocated and I have the option to put a deposit down on. The price has me concerned that they are not powered. I had to fold my ‘11s mirrors manually to get in my garage and would rather not have to do that with a new truck.

Much appreciated! Not sure why the Vspec couldn’t say that.

Does anyone know the OEM part numbers for these mirrors and the two cube switches to extend and light the tow mirrors?

I'm looking for a set of OEM Tow Mirrors as well.
They are Crazy $$, but I need them, and I am not going to put on lame strap-on's

Boost Auto says "coming soon" with a nice set of mirrors, but I need them sooner than "coming soon"

I have a 1794 with AVS, when I pull the switch panel back it looks like it is pre-wired for the push buttons for "extend" and "light" for the mirrors. Do you think that new harnesses will still be necessary at that trim level?

I would love to find the part numbers for the mirrors and switches, I can only find the P/N's for the standard mirrors.

On a side note...the dealership nearest me has 50+ Tundras coming in, and only 3 are coming with tow mirrors...2 Platinums and 1 Limited.

    None... yet.
Its been a bit since the last response... I got a 2024 Tundra SR5 Crewmax 4x4 back in February... and find I now want/need tow mirrors and would like to go OEM if at all possible. I did pop off the blank button panels on the dash - wiring for the light and extend are indeed there. So like the above, I am interested to know if a new harness is actually necessary or would I be good to go with just getting the tow mirrors/buttons and swapping them out.

    Editing to add/ask:

If OEM is not an option for reasons, are there any 3rd party mirrors that you would suggest/recommend that have OEM like functionality (BSM (blind spot monitor), power folding, extending, etc)? While I would like OEM, I am open to 3rd party.

I don’t think anyone has successfully swapped oem tow mirrors for oem mirrors and have everything functioning properly. I would trade right away if this was easy. I hate these big ass mirrors.

I did. Guy sent me switches too. Although he broke em at remove time in half, so they wouldn’t work. Will need to buy new switches I guess.

    Took a different harness too.

How bad was it tearing apart the entire dash then to put the new wire harness in the truck? and how much did you spend on the harness? part number for the harness you used?

You may have bolted a set on, but it doesn't sound like you have a set of fully functioning folding OEM tow mirrors yet.

Had dealership do it. Of course they charged arm / leg for the job. Panel of door is super easy 3, screws. Side of dash is easy, just clips. Know this now after switching panels to red.

Seller provided the OEM harnesses. So I lack part #.

80% semantics I guess. If switches had been taken apart wholly. Extend and lights would work…

What do you consider an arm and leg for being charged? I mean people are trying to figure out if they want to do this and you're all "I don't kiss and tell"...share some specifics dude like what your invoice said for hours, what the invoice said they did, maybe some pictures of your "harness"...you know helpful stuff.

I don't think its just your switches that don't work. I have a feeling you'll be disappointed when your switches show up and they still don't work. I don't think you understand the extent of the harness that is needed to get them fully functional.

Report back when you have them fully working or share some info that is helpful. Many have tried to make this work and if you stumbled on a way to do it then enlighten the audience other than I have done it but they don't work though.

The yota garage has a tow mirror option that’s plug and play, the only downside is it’s manual extend and you lose the mirror camera. They are like $800

    @teab

Swapped harness is installed. Arm n leg attached for what was done. Started out way lower then when I showed up to retrieve truck, it was oh we had two guys working on it… this n that here is your new bill. Local dealership isn’t super customer centric. Over 900 bones for work…

knowing now how to remove door panel, I may have been able to run new harness thru door grommet myself. Just wanted (dealership) to do so it would be warranty. Believe I’m in error with that thought process too since I provided the OEM pieces…

sticky note is the part #’s for switches.

1200 for mirrors, plus switches, plus 900+-. It’s steep for the cut over doing at dealership. Think I got a decent price on mirrors too. They could be more costly to purchase.

    Hopefully more ‘helpful’
    B
