Hey team! Just got a my first tundra and I’m really needing a bed cover. I’m gonna be hauling personal items and luggage a lot and I wanna stay far away from spending an arm and a leg! What do you tundra vets recommend??

I use the Rough County Hard trifold one. Quality seems good.

Any leakage? How long have you had it?

I went with the OEM trifold and have been very happy with it. Does a great job with keeping out water here in the Pacific Northwest. The Rough Country trifold is also very popular at a lower price point.

Ditto on the OEM. Installed it yesterday & seems like quality.

Congrats on your first Tundra and welcome to the boards!
I went with GatorTrax Tonneau Cover
Part #: GRX-G60860 it's pretty streamline to the top rails and it's lockable.
At the bottom of the collection can the plastic drain ports are pretty cheesy and broke off due loading the bed with stuff.
I modified it with brass connectors & stainless hoses and they haven't failed since.
As for leakage I modified the hole where the cover locking pin meets the hole on the rail for locking position and holds it real tight to the gate, and it holds water back even going through the automatic car wash.

Best of luck and congrats on the new Rig!

FYI, the OEM tonneau cover is a re-branded BakFlip MX4. That's what I have.

It's a decent cover that keeps the bed dry for the most part, but it's far from waterproof when going thru an auto car wash.

I have noticed no leaks so far. I have owned it for a couple of months.

Had the RC tri fold on my 23 SR5 for 2.5 years here in rainy Oregon. Never noticed any leaks even when going through a car wash.
Unfortunately they don’t make a long box version for my new 1794, or I would get one again.
