    Hello all.
I’ve read through the post that gave the max rim/tire combo for each model. I’m looking for a specific setup and if anyone has pics/info, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have a 2024 Tundra Limited with TRD off road package.
Stock suspension, stock 20 inch wheels and tires.

I recently purchased the TRD PRO 18 inch BBS Forged rims.

I don’t plan on upgrading my suspension anytime soon.

I would like to put 33/12.50/18
Looking at Toyo Open Country AT3.

Does anyone have a 3rd gen with TRD OR package with stock suspension (no lift/level) running those rims/tires combo (TRD PRO 18 inch w/ 33/12.50/18)?
If so, did you have any issues? Rubbing etc. Did you have to make any adjustments?

    pic for reference:

You'll have better luck searching for people who have put 35x12.5x18 tires on a TRD pro. OEM size is nearly 33" so most people don't bother. Your 33"/12.5/18 compared to the OEM falken mildpeak's 285/65/18, only comes out to 0.4" taller than stock and 1.3 inches wider. Threw a close comparison for a 33x12.5x18 (~318/60/18, which is close to a 33x12.5) below.

    upload_2024-9-20_8-2-47.png

Most people go for 35's because OEM sizes are nearly 33's already. When I ditched the OEM 285/65/18 Mildpeaks on the Pro Rims I bought I personally went with a 265/70/18 Toyo AT3 and love the way it rides and handles. Its an OEM size and I didn't take any hit on gas mileage because of that.

Basically what I'm getting at is if your looking for a picture with a 33x12.5, you might as well look for pictures with OEM tires because you won't notice much difference with 0.4" tall and 1.3 inch wider.

Also TRD off road package is going to look identical to everything besides the PRO. No difference in height between TRD-OR and non TRD-OR. Only the pro has a 1.1" lift in the front.

thank you for the reply. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn’t be a problem since I’m looking to go wider and use a beefier tire.

35x11.50 18 in Load Range C is offered by Falken in the AT and RT tire. Cuts down on weight. But mileage will suffer as soon as you go larger and heavier FYI. Fits on Pro with no trimming, not sure about TRD OR

Following this to see what you find out, i really want the TRD Pro wheels and Tires as well and I dont really like the 20s on the TRD offroad, ride quality would be better with 18" I think.

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Just a quick update incase anyone was on the same boat.

I ended up going with Toyo Tires Open Country AT 3 size 285/70/18.

One picture has the original setup with the 20’s and the rest are with the TRD PRO 18’s

I love the look and feel, ZERO RUB/MODS needed.

I did this mainly because I had no intention on lifting/adding any leveling kit (not until later on down the line).

*Gas mileage was an added plus, I averaged 16 MPG, I didn’t expect it to go up, no that I was worried about it, but incase anyone was interested in know the MPG change*

    Hope this helps someone out!

I just got the wildpeak 35 X 11.5 today, they ride better than stock in the load range C. Feels like a truck now.

Those are AGP wheels though that are +12 offset, you may need a spacer so they don't rub on the stock pro's. Someone else can confirm that.

    Those are nice!

I purchased a set of used TRD PRO 18 inch rims and put on the 285/70/18 Toyos. No spacer needed. No rub on full lock.

I swapped my 20 inch TRD off roads for 18 inch TRD PRO wheels there is no real difference with the stock tires in height, the Pro combo may be a little lighter but wider tire and wheels are offset another half inch outward. They look good imho and the Wildpeak 285/65/18's are light for an all terrain...more tire than most of us really need. Going to a heavier tire even same size will cost you some mpg and ride...anyway the Pro only has a 1.1 inch front end lift, mine stock is great you can even go to a tree 34" tire on an off road 35" on a stock Pro, otherwise some kind of lift...please don't do a cheapie puck job

You didn't change the width of the tire at all so yeah there won't be any rub on full lock, its about an 1.1 inch bigger diameter tire (people fit 35's with no lift, so no issue there either). Going from a 285 tire to 285 tire is exactly the same width. upload_2024-9-26_7-13-13.png

Congrats on the new shoes though I'm a fan of the Toyo's as well.

Keep in mind the OEM mildpeaks don't have the 3 peak snow rating and are not the same as off the shelf wildpeaks from your local tire place...see post #72 in the link below

Did the OR lug nuts work on the Pro rims?
