Ok, silly question here, but not really. I need to get to 12v for an accessory I want to add.

Where do I find the traditional 12v battery or in case of needing to be jumped, where can I find lugs for the jumper cables???

Just logged in my 4000th mile and I’m Loving this truck!

    Thanks in Advance!!

Excellent! You guys are great & thanks for the help. In the video, he mentioned a place to jump it “under the hood”. I looked, it wasn’t obvious. Any tips???

Yeah it's definitely under the back seat drivers side. BUT get yourself a quality of life improvement - I literally bought a noko jumper pack and it's freaking awesome. No more driving up to the side of things to jump crap. Just grab the pack and you're golden. Plus it's good to know you have it, JUST incase. Four wheeling, vehicle, boat, anything. I put off buying one for so long and when I finally got it, it made a world of difference.

LOL DPR . Very true! But to be fair a picture or presentation can be worth a 1000s words. I for one often learn quicker and understand better by seeing it done as opposed to thumbing through a manual.

LOL. Why would anyone need a manual when we have each other???

In all seriousness, I did look at the manual and didn’t see anything mentioned about a +12v source in the engine bay.

Look in the fuse box on the left side of the engine. You'll see the positive jump point in it, you can also hook any 12v accessories to it as well with a little modification to the box. When I hooked up my Diode Dynamic light bar I ran it to that jump point as several sites suggested instead of all the way to the battery under the back seat.

You ‘da Man!!! Thank you 75! I got my volt meter out and as can be seen in the pictures I’ll attach, the 4 lugs in the picture all measure +12v. I am guessing that the largest is direct from the battery and carries the most current. I would imagine the smaller lugs have a fuse inline somewhere, but I have no idea where or how what size fuse it is. I also have a picture of the closest ground lug. Please note, I removed the housing to show the large hot conductor. For safety, I would highly recommend replacing it when done. IMG_4022.jpg IMG_4024.jpg
