With the 22-23 Turbo wastegate/Engine debris recall/Seat cracking/ Fuel tank issues I'm hoping that the 2025 have some or all fixed. For those of you with 2025 have you experienced any major issues so far? I only heard of one 2025 with an engine failure. During my buying process I had a slight infotainment glitch where the camera screen turned black and had to turn off/on the car to fix it.

Zero issues to date with my 2025 Limited that I purchased in late November. Only have 500 miles so far but it’s been rock solid.

No issues with my 2025 Platinum in the first 1100 miles. It is a better build than my previous 2022 1794, which is acceptable knowing it was the first model year.

About 30 days ago, picked up a 2025 Mesquite Limited Off-Road with the long bed for our employee work truck. The '25 felt great when we drove it and addressed all of my initial concerns, we got the non-hybrid for back seat storage. If I didn't need my HD truck now, I'd be driving a 2025 1794. It seems to be way better value than Ford at the moment as Ford is increasing prices and deleting more and more features. I can post a pic of the truck later when my employee gets back.

25 1794 with TRD OR package10/24 BD. 2K plus miles, first oil change at 2K waiting on oil analysis. No issues, wonderful truck. Used Carista app to turn off fake engine noise, best mod yet, if you are wondering aboutit, just do it. Took it to Cahuilla MX for a track day and I was pleasantly surprised how smooth the ride was on the roads in there (rutted dirt) compared to the 2012 F150 it replaced. Going to try some exploring out in the desert here in the next week or so and i will report back on how it does.

Same as the rest, zero issues with my 2025 Tundra. I owned a 23 Tundra that had some minor build quality issues, have a factory lifted 2025 limited Tundra currently with zero issues and far better build quality so far. Built in Oct, owned since late Oct, zero issues with 2k miles. Decided against a 1k oil change just before a long trip because the engine oil looked super clean and was right on the mark. Love this truck!

2025 Limited TRD Off-Road with the factory lift. No major issues so far. I'm a few hundred miles away from 5k and I'm planning to do an oil change then and send it off for analysis.

    Minor "issues"...
    - CarPlay has locked up on me a couple of times, but restarting the infotainment system (hold power/volume knob) fixes it.
    - A few times (in the same day) I got a flickering message about VSC and/or Traction Control and ABS lights on the MID when braking. Disconnected the negative battery terminal for 20-30 minutes and reconnected. I have driven the truck once since then and haven't seen the issue reappear yet.

I own a model year 2025 Limited Crew non-hybrid w TRD pkg, JBL upgrade, LED lights, purchased in late October 2024. I purchased it out of state and drove it home 650 freeway miles from the dealer's lot. I did a break-in oil change at 750 miles. The owner of TCCN Ahmed gave me Blackstone's contact info. Nice guy. I had the oil analyzed at Blackstone like he did for his 1794. I suggest a break-in oil change get done with any new vehicle before a 1000 miles (old school). Report attached. I plan to change the oil at 2K and if that looks good, then 5K intervals forever to keep the turbos clean too. I'll post those here as well. At a 1000 miles now and nothing but a purring kitten limo driving machine. I love it. Tundra sunshine. Thanks for all your posts everyone. Very helpful.

Still own my 2006 SR5 TRD with the 4.7 and 185K on that. That one purrs too but it is not a limo, just a best friend foreverimage0.jpg image1.jpg BlackstoneAnalysis.jpg .

I’ve had 7 Tundras, a Sequoia and an F250 diesel. I’m stupid and get a new car every couple years but the 2025 Tundra is light years better than those I’ve had, honeymoon or not

Bought my 2025 limited on Nov. 19. Been to the dealer 3 times for various small issues but nothing big. Here’s what issues I’ve had and still have to date:
    1. Driver tail lamp over torqued at factory causing a horrible squeal when opening tailgate. Also makes an abundance of noise while driving - fixed by replacing tail lamp assembly.
    2. Drivers (and now passenger) side speaker rattle like a buzz saw when bass in any form is on. Drivers side speaker was replaced, but the door card was improperly reinstalled causing the rattle to still be present somewhat.
    3. Heat was not blowing at all from top vents - blend doors “re - learned” that helped with airflow some, but not impressed.
    4. High pitch squeal coming from drivers side and loud wind noise on passenger side at 80+ mph - didn’t notice this until recently, so haven’t been to dealer on this yet.
    5. Infotainment wasn’t switching to night mode when headlights came on. - pulled dash myself because I got tired of going to the dealership and found a plug had come loose (hadn’t been touched before)

overall, I love the truck, but you can definitely tell these things aren’t built like my 4Runner was.

I hope Toyota’s paying attention. Kind of ridiculous, people have to post things like “1100 miles and no issue so far.” Hip hip hooray!

Don’t get me wrong, I have a ‘24 with just under 5K miles and I’ve been posting the same thing for the past several months.

The engine failures and subsequent recall have definitely got people wary, but I agree, I had a 2nd gen Tacoma and the slogan was "100k? Congratulations, you've completed the engine break-in period."

Hopefully the issues have actually been resolved (mine has a 9/24 build date) and these posts will just be humorous in a few years looking back.

Does anyone know if Toyota has addressed the wind noise issues something such as a better door seal?
    Thanks

Would like to know this as well. My 2024 has bad wind noise. I've added additional gaskets and had the driver's side window seals replaced, but still there.

I have a 25 Limited purchased end of Dec, ~400 miles. Only minor issue was with the fuel gauge showing full(when not actually full). I followed the reset fix and it resolved the problem. Hopefully there is a software update or something to resolve it long term. Everything else has been great!

I have a 25 Limited purchased mid October 2024 with 1600 miles on it - and have had one issue that needs to be looked at - The drivers seat back has something loose in it. Every time I accelerate or hit the brakes or turn I feel a tapping sensation in my lower back - I've done some research online and see that some 2025 Camry owners report the exact same thing but no Tundra threads yet - The expanded/blow out seat diagram - leads me to either the lumbar bladder or the seat heater.... It's a bit nuts 'cause in a 10 mile trip I may stop 30-50 times depending on lights or traffic, so yeah - I hope the dealer doesn't give me the run around on this - fingers crossed. Otherwise the truck is truly excellent and a joy to drive, haul or pull!

What is the reset fix? I have a ‘25 Platinum and no issues to speak of, but feel that I need to go over the truck with a fine tooth comb to look for issues.
