    Hello,
I am looking to purchase a 2025 Tundra 1796 truck. Please let me know your thoughts if you own one. What if any are the issues with this model? Thank you in advance

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! You are referring to the 1794 editions. And you're going to see a lot of very positive reviews on this site.

Do be fair - if you search 1796 probably not many hits.

OP, sorry for the grief you've gotten over your mis-type.

The 1794 edition is the nicest trim package Toyota offers, IMO. I've had 2, a 2015 and my current 2023. I routinely get compliments on it from passengers who aren't familiar.

That said, the whole Gen 3 Tundra lineup suffers from significant reliability issues. Don't let the fancy interior affect your buying decisions.

OP, what’s your timeline? 2026 models might bring a refresh. Heard nothing official.

That said, I saw a 1794 at the dealer last month and the interior is extremely nice. Good luck with your selection and truck hunt

I’ve had two 1794s and loved them both although they were two completely different trucks.

My first was a gently used 2023 1794. It was the smoothest riding truck I’ve ever had and had almost every creature comfort you could want. It has a lot of exterior chrome that some like and some don’t. I personally liked it!

I traded that truck in on a 2024 1794 Limited Edition and it is awesome. It has blackened chrome instead of shiny chrome along with black rims which I actually like better. It came factory with a small lift and all the TRD goodies my first one didn’t have. The Saddleback interior smells so good, every time I get in the truck I smile.

I decided to go with the 1794 because of the western themed interior, in my opinion it sets it apart from the other Tundras, including the flagship Capstone model.

In today’s car/truck market every make and model has issues. Do your research on the brand and model and I would recommend considering purchasing an extended warranty on whatever vehicle you choose!

Good luck in your search, that was part of the fun part for me in deciding what I would ultimately buy and who I would buy it from.
