22 Tailgate Measurements

I was wondering if someone (with a double cab if it makes a difference I don't know) could measure their tailgate length from the top where the plastic stops to the bottom of the tailgate. Also, the width from the "A" in Tundra to the rightmost edge of the tailgate. Going to get a stripe made with the TRD off-road logo and compass inlayed. There's a guy I worked with that made some 2 color stripes for my Gladiator that were cool and I would like one to put on the tailgate. I'm assuming like a 7 or 8 inch width will work (I think the 4X4 logo on the side of the bed is like 6 1/2 inches or so), but not 100% sure of the length needed.

What I'm thinking is a black stripe like the following (without the 4X4 shown) with one of the second photo logos inlayed

Plastic trim at top to bottom of tailgate (the actual painted surface of the tailgate, not the bumper) is 23 1/4". End of the A to the right edge of the tailgate is exactly 14". I have a Double Cab but I'm sure they're all the same anyway.

Now that I think about it one thing to keep in mind is the tailgate has a slight curve to it, and I measure it pretty much straight. So the vertical measurement might need to be a smidgen longer to be exact.

 

When he made my Gladiator stripe he made it in 2 pieces and made it a little longer than I needed so I'm sure he'll allow for something like that.
