22 TRD off-road 18” wheel center cap.

I have a 22 TRD off-road in Supersonic Red. I noticed that one of the center caps went missing. These are the center caps with the Toyota symbol black and Crome. I wanted the red TRD center caps but did not want to modify the front dust covers. Those who have installed the covers have had to flatten out the front dust cover under the center caps. I noticed that the new center caps for the new 24 Tacoma were conclaves out. I was able to remove a center cap from a new Tacoma and give it a test. Perfect fit with no need to modify the dust cover. So I place an order for the Tacoma dust covers. I ordered the covers in May and waited patiently. It took a very long time to get them. Between part number changes and order being cancelled. They finally came in this month.

The domed shape of the Tacoma cap also eliminates flattening the dust cover when using the recessed type center cap. Thanks for confirming this.

 

In the process of replacing that rim. Kind of forgot that it happened.

 

Got the rim replaced finally. Also a new set of tires. Cooper Discover Road and Trail.
