Where is it rubbing at? The front fender liner or someplace else? Other than avoiding UCA rub, wheel spacers likely will make fender rub worse (and spacers have a list of cons). Thus you may be able to adjust the fender/skid plates/etc. instead of spacers.

Thanks for the welcome! It’s hitting the
Lower control arm when it’s turned to its maximum. I saw on you tube the guys from Wescott did a 3mm spacer with 35x12.5. But like you I hear lots of negatives on spacers but I don’t want to mess up my tires either.

Oh that is interesting hitting the lower control arm! Yes that would point to wheel offset then (like if it was hitting the UCA too) and thus a spacer if staying with the same wheels. It's possible an alignment could move the wheel location enough to avoid rubbing too. A 12.5 wide on the Gen 2s using stock wheels with 60mm offset would usually rub the UCAs/other components due to the width of the tire (and why alot of people switched to aftermarket 25 or 0mm offsets). A 3mm shim would be pretty minimal, however I think tire places may lose that/misunderstand it since I am guessing it's not attached to the wheel hub directly (there are 10mm spacers that are similar too).
