    upload_2023-4-28_21-14-17.jpg
I tried wiring them but I can’t seem to get the turn signals to work.

anyone else have these lights if so how did you wire them and how did you get the turn signals to work?

I'd try the mfg where you bought them from to provide some install instructions. If you bought em from AliExpress or another china site, good luck - you need to find the original store that has the install instructions

I take it that your truck isn't a hybrid, bc those are the vent slots for the turbo intercooler.

I wouldn't be blocking those vents as they are actually functional

It’s not a hybrid and I bought them from Amazon… the instructions are in Chinese and don’t really say much.

also there’s nothing behind these vents the turbo coolers are closer to the big center grill so I don’t think they actually do much

Like others have mentioned, there’s a small intercooler radiator behind each of those two small vent grills on either side of the center grill surround. These aren’t “active” like the center grill, and require constant airflow to maintain efficient cooling for the turbos. I’ll be installing sections of window screening between the radiators and grills (as I did for the grill on my first gen) to help prevent damage to the radiator fins and bug/debris build up. I always use black aluminum screen and check it periodically, remove and brush or hose off the bugs-etc and reinstall. Works very well

Can't block these flow vents - they don't even fully channel air directly to those intercoolers, 80%+ of the intercooler is being cooled from the main front grill

In other words, there is 0 ram air effect where this guy is installing drl, look at the pic the guy posted above lol

Yea that’s what I’ve read from other forums… I’ve looked on YouTube and google and can’t seem to find a good wiring diagram to help me wire these correctly

The vents are there for a reason. Why stop here? Do a similar setup for the main grille :monocle: lol

If your going to install them and want those as DRL's then I honestly would tap the hot leg on the existing wire harness of the DRL's but if you want control of them to turn on off on command then just wire it if it has a rely then it's pretty much cut and dry task.

I have them wired to the fuse box, so they turn on with ignition so they work, but once I connect the turn signal, the white DRLs turn off and the amber turn signals take over which is not supposed to happen.(amber light is only when turn signal is activated)

They come with a white wire that’s supposed to connect to the headlights + wire but I’m not sure what color wire that is.

Also I’m connecting to the center wire on the turn signals not sure if that’s the problem

I'd have to see the trucks schematic diagram to verify exactly which wires to poach.

Y'all can find the wiring diagrams here..

Ultimate TUNDRA Wiring Diagrams Collection | Toyota Tundra Forum (tundras.com)

There are a couple different headlight diagrams.
I don't know anything about Gen 3 headlights and DRLs.

    Turn signal diagram.

You can get a roll of black aluminum window screen at any hardware store… Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.
Cut to fit and attach between grills and radiators. I believe the center grill has active louvres, so have to make sure it doesn’t interfere with those

I didn’t want to post anything because I can’t really help you. I have these installed on my truck but I have an install guy that does all my lights/wiring work. So I don’t know crap about how to fix it but mine work perfect. The 5 white lights stay on constantly then when you use the turn signal they turn Amber in color and flash in a up and down sequence. I like em. I have the exact same kit you do. Sorry again wish I could walk you thru hooking em up right but I know zero about wiring! Good luck bro…..

I figured it out.. it was not that hard actually I was just wiring to the wrong turn signal wire.. and I also changed my fuse tap location and now it works perfect like stock

I just got similar DRLs. Mine are 3 vertices long leds. Can you provide pics of the wiring to the turn signal and to the fuse box? Also where did you put the ground too? No good instructions anywhere.

I was thinking the same thing, I purchased these as well, but this evening I'm drilling a few holes in them (just in case) however I do see that the air from the OEM is so very minimal, it wouldn't make much of a difference. My Toyota Tacoma was totaled out (mid-build) 11-11-2023, but got my hands on a Blue Print 2023 Toyota Tundra Limited Off-Road. --- I ask myself all week, why mess with it-- but ultimately, I just wanna have fun. But we shall see how this turns out soon enough. New to the Forum and Searching, reading and catching up is next, LOL

    Del and FEFE,

I have had a 2022 Tundra Double Cab SR5 since last March. I started having fun too. I did DRLs similar to yours. Peoe were saying those slots can't be blocked they are functional for air to your I tercoolers. True they are but the amount of air that goes through those vents is so insignificant. I have had mine since my last post with ZERO Intercooler cooling issues... None. I have done a lot of upgrades beyond that too and still no cooling issues. So don't sweet covering the vent slots and have lots of fun. I love my Tundra, the sound and the speed. Crazy fast it's a total sleeper truck. Has a cap on it with tools in the back for work. No one expects it to gap them from a roll or from the dig. I shame lots of people and love it.

Welcome to the forum and your new truck.

Do you have the wiring diagram of how you wired the lights up? I can find the blinker one, but what about the low beam? Can you provide how you wired those up? much appreciated. Thank You
