Looking to pull the trigger on some of these, looking at doing the 2.5” toytec/eibach kit. Would love to see what kind of stance it would look like with something similar, Thanks all!

Bilstein 5100 at middle setting (1.5” lift) and 18x9 +25 wheels with 275/70/18 Duratrac tires. No rubbing after removal of small flap in front of wheel well, retained factory front mud flaps.

no, the wheels offset the weight penalty of heavier tires as the OEM wheels are quite heavy compared to aftermarket wheels. Now the lift, that does hit the gas mileage a bit I’d say 1mpg maybe?? It doesn’t bother me much.

Right on, truck looks awesome. Will definitely be more inclined to do something like that, thanks

no problem, many guys on here like to run larger lifts and larger tires but I prefer to keep it closer to OEM for how I use the truck (towing, hauling, everyday driving and some light off-roading). Looks better in person than pictures as well if you can find someone locally to check theirs out. Good luck!

Following. Curious about this size as well.

The stock Michelins are 41lb each. Duratracs in 275/70 are 57lb each. You’ll definitely be sitting with more weight at each corner regardless of your aftermarket wheels.

It’s probably less noticeable than my 285/75s at 65lb each, but it will still be a bit of a difference.

I put this tire on my Tundra last fall. The Duratracs weren’t my first choice- #1 choice had an unknown availability- but I’ve had a few sets on other trucks and been happy with them. So far I’m loving them on the Tundra. Far, far better snow and off-road traction than the previous 2 sets its had. There was a slight drop in mileage from the previous Toyo ATIIs of the same size, but it was around the time we switch to winter mix gasoline up here and it could’ve been the main factor.

I don’t have any good pictures. Truck is squatting pretty good here, on a moose hunt up north hauling a quad & other gear.

Moving from the stock size to 275/70-18, you are going to see a MPG hit of 1.5-2MPG. Also, 275/70-18 fit on a stock truck, no suspension lift needed.

Do you have a picture of how much the wheel sticks out from the fender? Maybe a shot down the side?

How much stiffer if any is the front suspension with the 5100's?

    Thanks

Here you go, the wheels do stick out a bit but the tire contact surface doesn't go too far past the side of the truck.

The 5100's in the middle setting ride pretty close to the stock OR 4600's. Both are firmer than for example the TRD pro bilstein/fox setup.

Thanks man! I was considering a RRW rim with +25 and it seems to be as much stick out as I will be good with. Thanks man!

I know the duratracs excel in snow and gravel, How are the duratracs in the highway/wet conditions everyday conditions?

I have them on my tacoma and I am on my 3rd pair and about 140000 mi. The snow and ice, they aren't my favorite but everywhere else they are great. Not too much road noise and good in the water for sure. I know they won't last near that long on a tundra but they will be one of the better tires for sure
