I've done a lot of reading and others have actually asked the question but it never got answered in their threads.

Will 285/60/20 fit TSS wheels (20x9 +50) on a stock 2020 TRD OR? I don't mind removing mudflaps or trimming skid plate but I don't intend to lift the front. I actually prefer the way it looks and would rather bring the back down 3' than the front up 3' but that's a different subject.

I know 275/60/20 is common and works without any significant modifications, its just that 275 looks a little too skinny to me on a big truck and 9' wide wheels. 285/55/20 is an option but its a slightly smaller diameter. If 285/60/20 isn't an option, I'll go with 295/55/20 which look good and fit but you have more tire choices to choose from at the 285/60/20 size. AT tires look so much nicer but the reality is that this is my DD (50 miles roundtrip, 6 days/week) so I'm not spending a lot of time off-roading, I drive fairly aggressively, and I have to deal with the 4 seasons in Long Island, NY. Thanks in advance.

It should work. 285/70-18s fit on a stock truck with stock wheels, they are almost identical in height/width as 285/60-20. You can check and compare tire sizes here +50 offset is good, if you went with more negative offset you could run into more rubbing. Your plan is totally doable.

and as always, dont be afraid to use the search button upper right, you can find all sorts of goodies that way.

Thanks, I’ve read all of those. My main concern was because the TSS wheels are an inch wider and have different offset.

The sticky says max stock height is 275/60/20 and 285/60/20 if lifted/leveled. I’m not lifted or leveled but my wheels are slightly different than most “stock” wheels. Maybe I’ll just stick w the 275/60/20 since they’re confirmed and are a few hundred cheaper anyway. Leaves me money to spend on other mods.

Well that sticky is great, but is on conservative side, folks have run larger than it lists with no issues.

I run 275/70-18 (33.4 tall) on a stock truck, stock rims+60 and they fit fine- no rubbing and kept all plastics and skid intact. I could actually go up to 285/70-18 with stock wheels and no lift. So, the guidelines in the sticky are a little on the small side but are a great reference. Note, I have the OR package wheels, so 8 inch wide vs your 9 inch TSS wheels.

I bet if you search TSS wheels here in the forum you will get some hits with pics of setups and info on the tires. But the tires are very close in the sizes you are considering, half inch either way so going with 275/60 is going to look nice. 33s on a stock tundra look really good and with your inch wider wheels and +50 offset, the 275s would be easier to fit.
