Ok anyone running RockWarrior wheels or anyone else running 17’s I am trying to decide between the above mentioned sizes of tire. I’m interested in hearing your opinions, pros and cons of either size. Thanks for the help

305s on rock warriors. Might swap for Method 701s. Just something different.

I like them. I'll probably go down in size next time so I can run 0 offset and get a little power back

edit: don't wheel as much as I expected. I think next size down in 0 offset would look better even though they would be a tad smaller

I am very happy with my 285 75 17 KO2’s both on and off road. Plenty of squish in sidewall when aired down to 22-25psi and the 5.7 barely noticed a difference when I made the jump. I did go to a lighter rim than factory so I only gained 9 lbs at each corner. Tire size looks good, but don’t really look over sized, imho.

Had 285’s Then went with 305/70/17’s also, wanted 35’s but wasn’t excited about loosing the pulling power. Figured happy medium?

I’ve got it narrowed down to BFG KO2 and Cooper Discoverer at3 Xlt. Size I’m not really sure either the 285 or 315. Currently leaning 285 75 because I really like the way the 75 looks. 315’s sidewall is only about 1/2” taller so basically negligible

The 285 75 looks perfect on your truck. Side note are you running a RTT or is that a storage box

Thank you! Its a roof box (15 year old Yakima Rocketbox 16) along with a Batwing awning.

Toyo has a 35x11.5x17 in the new AT III. I’m not positive, but with a certain offset I think those would work without having to trim or do a CMC.

I have 315/70/17 KO2s I like them a lot. had to do a pretty aggressive BMC. But running camburg UCAs with 6.8 degrees of caster with zero offset wheels, probably fit better with RW wheels. I used to have 285/70 and definitely noticed power loss and more gear hunting with the 315s

Thanks for the response. That has been my fear with 315’s
