295/55r20 Nitto Ridge Grappler PSI ???

I have a 295/55r20 Nitto ridge grapplers with a 3 inch lift. Curious what others are running as far as tire pressure. I’ve heard run what’s written in the door, others have suggested other pressures...I would like some input with others running this tire. Thank you!

 

I run Toyo RTs in the same size. Under normal conditions I have 45-50 psi in them. When trailering usually 55, but it rides pretty rough when unloaded.

 

You can call Nitto Tire and they will tell you. I run 36 front and rear.

 

If your towing air up to 45 to 50 in rear and 40 in front. That what I run when towing my boat.

 

what about when you are just commuting around town and go work?

 

After hondoman commented I aired up to 38 in front and 40 in back and the ride felt really good

 

I still run 36. I have a company truck I drive most of the time. Nitto 34-36 tire shop said 40. My last tire rotation they but 36 in and wanted to see how they wear. I think my buddy runs 33 in all four tires but he is a 2 wheel drive. Can’t remember the size.

 

It is something you really have to play with. I did 33 like my buddy did and the tires and the ride felt spongey and found the groves in the road more.
