I have a 3/1 lift on my truck with stock wheels that have approximately a 30+ offset. Will 295/60/20 fit on my truck without making contact with any components?

    Thank you

Probably not. I have Fat Bob 4" adjustable lift set at 3" in the front running 285/65/20 and I rub on the inside. I think I even have a +25 offset, don't remember exactly. But I'm thinking you will have some rubbing

I’m just worried about the 295/60/20 hitting my UCA.

Stock wheels do not have a +30 offset. They either have +60 or +50, depending on which stock wheel you have. So, what wheels do you have?

yeah, stock wheels do not have +30mm offset. however, if you really did have wheels with a +30mm offset then the 295/60/20 tires would clear the upper control arms and you would have to some trimming to fit that tire. the trimming would mostly be the front wheel well liner.

I ran 295/60r20 Kanati mud hogs on a ‘18 TRD Sport with Bilstien on top setting, TSS package wheels that have a +50 offset and only had to slightly bend up a little of the skid plate in the front. They filled the wheel well just right.

TSS black wheels? Could you post a picture of them?

A +30 is going to rub a good bit with that size tire. May even need to do a body mount chop.

So in order to prevent that, do i need add spacers or find wheels with a more positive offset? Secondly is it the tire width or tire height that’s more significant when it comes to fitment?

    Thank you

“More” positive offset actually. As in +50 to +60 range. You can run a shorter tire, like a 295/55/20 easily at +30.

I just did some more snooping around on the forum. My wheels are indeed a 50+ offset. Guess I’m lucky then huh?

Then you should be good to go. Worst case a little rubbing may occur on the fender plastics. But the plastics on the fenders can easily be reshaped with heating

i have 295/60/20's on a 20x9 +20mm offset wheel with a 3" inch lift and the tires don't even come close to the cab mount (i was still able to keep the mudflaps on). They do, however, come very close to the front wheel well liner.

i have about 1/2" clearance to the front liner after i trimmed the liner:

i have about 1" clearance to the cab mount:

don't run a 295/55/20 with a 3" lift. those tires will look way too small. i ran that size when i had a 1.5" lift.

since you do have +50mm offset, you may be able to fit a 295/60/20 tire, but it will be very close to the upper control arm. you can ask a tire shop to try that size on your setup to see if it will fit or you can use wheel spacers.

No I don’t, sorry. I do remember being able to get my finger tips between but not my knuckles if that helps any.

would I be able to fit 295/60/20 tires on a 3-inch strut spacer level kit and stock in the back? I'm willing to take off the front mud flaps but hesitant to do a lot of cutting. Would this combo work?

Yes. On my 2018 Sport I was running 295/60r20 with just Bilsteins on top setting which is roughly 2.78” of lift in front and nothing done to the rear. I had no spacers and still cleared the upper control arm. My wheels were the TSS wheels that are 20” with a +50 offset. I see your truck is a TRD Offroad with TRD Offroad wheels. Those are 18” with a +60 offset. Are planning on buying or already purchased 20” wheels?
