I’m looking to get some 17x8 Method 316s, +25 offset with 295/70/17s on stock suspension. Anyone know if this will work? Tiresize website shows the height the same as 275/70/18 which I know work on stock suspension, but tires are about an inch wider. Thanks

Cab/body mount chop and bumper shims plus a heat gun on the fender liners in the wheel well is likely necessary with that offset and tire width. Possible skid plate trimming as well.

For a 33” tire?? I was under the impression body mount chop was only necessary when you went 35 and above

I’m trying to clarify the answer considering a 33” tire is a common upgrade for people running 18” wheels with no other modifications. I don’t mind removing the mud-flaps and fender liner but I’m not interested in a body mount chop. Has anyone had personal experience running a 17” 295/70/17

I've highlighted the important part. "33's on 18's" are typically guys putting 275/70r18 LT size on their OEM wheels that have a a +60mm offset, which is different from the +25 wheel you're asking about. Then add another inch (width) of tire (295 vs 275).

Do what you want. You may be fine, you may need to get your knuckles dirty.

Yes it works. I did it with no lift but did lose mud flaps and pushed the liner forward a wee bit. Same size and offset.

I agree with @dpast88. I leveled mine, added a bumper shim and still had to lose the little flap in the front

There’s also the Method 703 I was looking at with +35 offset. Not sure if that’s a better option but that wheel is a half inch wider and a few lbs heavier I was trying to keep the setup light as possible since I’m going to an E rated tire.
