    more specifically:
    295-60-20 vs 315-60-20

What tire are yall running/would rather run? Did you rub? Lift?

What kinda hit can I expect my MPGs to take?

    Pics are appreciated!

Lift and related mods like UCA aside, the 295s could work with stock 8 inch wheels, the 315s will likely require 9+ wide wheels, extra cost$. 295s will be an easier fit, remove front spats, maybe remove mud flaps and move the fender liner forward or use a bumper spacer. There are threads about that size with pics and fit info, so search that tire size in upper right and you may find some. 12.5 wide tires and 35 inches tall will likely mean the same modifications along with a body mount chop. Expect to lose 2-3MPG due to the heavier weight, more aggressive tread and larger circumference of the tires.

The widest tite you can put on 8" rims is 295. If you want to go to 315 you'll need to get different rims among other things.

Then you will need wheel spacers to clear the UCA with a 295/60/20 tire. I had the texas edition wheels (which are the same specs as the tss wheels: 20x9 +50mm offset) and here is how close a 295/55/20 tire is to the UCA:

If you still want to go with a 35" tire, then you can also look at a 295/65/20, but again, you will need wheel spacers to clear the UCA.

    When I went from a 275/55/20 to a 295/60/20, I lost 2 mpg. I get about 14 mpg now.

either way i believe you would need a less positive offset wheels to clear uca? I have 315 and looking back, if I don't offroad I'd went with 285

295/60r20 was the perfect size for me. 3/1 lift with 9" wide 0 offset wheels. No rub after removing the mudflaps and adding a .5" front bumper spacer. Still get around 15 mpg on my daily commute. I considered a wider tire or true 35" but I'm glad I didn't. I think I would have had to cut the body mount if I went bigger/wider.
