Anyone know where I can tap into a wire triggered by the doors opening? Searching leads me to possible wires that will switch when doors open as well as the key fob being used but I’d prefer a wire switched solely by the doors being open since that would work best with my alarm system I’m creating. I also see a dome circuit wire on searching but I usually just keep my dome light off at all times.

Remove the dome light bulb and still use it as a trigger.

    True I could do that.

Anyone know of a wire that gets switched regardless of having the dome light switched door open or if that wire is under the driver side paneling?

thinking my best solution is tapping into the footwell light. seems like it is triggered by a ground switch rather than +12v
