I need to replace the front frame section (front crossmember forward) on an 08 double cab 4X4 long bed Tundra with the 5.7 V8. Since there aren't a ton of long bed frames available and I don't need the rear section anyway, I'm looking at using a 6.5' regular bed frame (also 4X4, 5.7L). Can anyone verify that the front sections of these frames are identical? I have VIN #s from my vehicle and perspective donor vehicles if that helps. The salvage yard that I'm considering buying from is several hundred miles from me so I'm unable to personally see and measure anything from the donor vehicle. Any advice is much appreciated!

Frame part numbers will definitely be different, but that doesn't mean one can not be used in place of another. I wish I could be of further help, but I honestly don't know.
