Its a bit of an ambitious built, Im not sure how many folks are willing to drop that much $$$$$ on a hi-fi audio system for their tundra but doing so, the sound clarity is just amazing. The subwoofer box was redone 3x. The fiberglass looks good but the sound delivery was not there. So I went with a 1” thick mdf fully sealed and lots of brace and 2 separate enclosure. The subwoofer are paired off to 1 amp each running at 2 ohm along with all my components running at 2 ohm full active no crossover. The DSP on the audiocontrol are amazing. The full system hits a full spectrum of 20hz to 22khz.

    Here’s the specifications:
1 set of Focal 3 way K2 Elite
3 set of Focal 2 way power series
    2 Audiocontrol D6.1200
    2 Audiocontrol 1500.1
    2 Northstar X2 AGM BATTERY
    4 JL Audio 13Tw5 V2 4ohm
    Alpine Headunit ILX-f309
    Starhead liner

I'm glad to see someone else going full active! Did you do the tuning yourself?

I had someone else tune it. But this whole system will need a re-tune after all the speakers break-in.

Cool, I did my own tuning but if i upgrade my audiofrog's i may pay a shop to do a tune, probably remotely.

Your system looks amazing! What shop did the work and what was the total cost? I'm in LA too.

The shop that did the work is no longer operating. I was his last legacy build. Total cost if you include labor and retail price. It’ll cost you $25k

How long did it take your Focal's to break in. I just got the K2 3ways installed up front. It sounds great, but I was told it will sound better after they break in. Thanks!

That guy with this truck hasn't logged on in over a year.

I have K2 powers as well (not in my Tundra yet, had them in my Silverado). I don't remember specifics, but it took a few hours.

Thanks for the update. I love mine. I know it's comparing apples to oranges when comparing my new system (Focal front & rear, Mosconi DSP amps, RF 12" subs, etc.), but oddly enough, the one small difference I notice that the factory had that my new system doesn't is the center channel output. Yes, most people disconnect it when upgrading systems, since the factory only combined L&R into the center anyway vs a true center channel, but I can notice a difference in the "missing" sound from that direction. It's a small complaint, but noticeable.
