Hi, does anyone know the torque specs for the plugs on the 3.5 TT? Since I don't wrench everyday I would like the torque spec. Thanks in advance for your help.

IMO, sparks plugs should be done by feel and made just snug. If your torque wrench is off a bit or if you get some oil on the threads, you could easily strip one out by chasing a number. Likewise, if you use anti-seize be very very careful with a torque wrench. I recommend not using anti-seize, especially since these plugs get changed every 40k. They should not get stuck.

Looks to be 15ftlb which sounds about right. Toyota aluminum head engines have spark plugs set between 13 and 18 ft lb

There is a thread in the 3rd gen forums with a install PDF with this information if you search.

I did see the very helpful post from 99ways2die last month when I was starting to think about doing the plugs. With my 454 I don't worry about torque obviously since its all cast but since the 5.4 debacle I religiously try to find the torque spec so I have a baseline. Also my Evinrude plugs have to be indexed which is a whole other story lol. Thanks for everyone's input.
