    Hi,

I'm interested in running 33x12.5 on a 18x9 +25 with a lift that doesn't make the wheel/tires look too small.

It seems like this isn't a popular choice but I like the look of 33x12.5.

I've seen 33x12.5 setups that retained the mudflap. What offset would allow me to retain all parts in wheel well? Would 18x9 +25 allow that with 33x12.5?

    Thanks much!

Im running that exact rim size with 35's and 3/2 lift, but no plastic parts.
I think you will be fine with 33's and leaving the plastic in place.

33x12.5 on 18's w/+25 offset will work with absolutely zero clearance issues. Enjoy!

    Thanks for the replies.

    What about 33x12.5 18 on a 18x9.5 +20? Or even +0?

What parts need to be removed and/or trimmed on 33's?

    Thanks in advance.

Hmmm. I think with a 0 offset, you're going to have some rubbing on the front fender wells; not sure about rubbing on the body mount at the back of the fender wells but that too is a possibility. For a +20 offset, I do not think you will have any rubbing.

I use to run 295/60 (34”x11.75”) on +20 offset wheels while leveled 3/1. I had to remove the front mud flaps and massage the liner towards the bumper with heat to make clearance. I wouldn’t chance going to +0 unless you want to protrude outside the fender which still might happen with +20’s and 12.5” tires.

    Thanks preacher35 and r4z0r51o.

+0 is likely out of the question due to how much it protrudes from side body plane. I want a slight protrusion and +20 should get me there. I just would rather not remove anything from fender well.

Thanks again for helping me make an informed decision.

Some say that a picture is worth a thousand words so here's a picture from nearly 4 yrs ago of my 295/60's on +20 offset wheels. Your desired tires size of 33x12.5 should be about 3/4" wider. Divided that by 2 and you
get 3/8" of an inch more tire sticking out than this photo.

Good luck, hope this helps out.

Thanks much! Your setup looks good and I dig the Silver Tundras. I'll check out your build thread too.

Your welcome! I'm always willing to try and help others learn from my mistakes.

My build looks quite a bit different now, but hopefully still tastefully done.

I’ve been looking at the Black Rhino Chambers 18x9.5 +12 offset on Toyo 265/70R18, what are the chances of this running? Thanks in advance!
