Done some searching with conflicting results...
Have a set of 33x12.5 20s on hand. Will these fit on stock 20x8 wheels without excessive wear or handling issues? Installing a Low Range 3/1 leveling kit and 2" spacers. If they will fit the wheels, will they fit this application without rubbing or do I need to look for smaller tires. I want to keep the stock wheels for now.

On stock wheels, they are too wide. I run stock 18s with 285/75/18 which are 35x11 and there is no rubbing on a 2” front lift and no wheel spacers.

maybe try finding a 285/65/20 and ditch the wheel spacers.

It’s not recommended but the minimum recommended wheel width is only 1/2” bigger at 8.5” wide. I’ve seen plenty of folks that run a 305 or 315 tire on factory wheels, which are 12 and 12.4” wide, respectively. You would most likely need spacers to clear the upper ball joint unless the tread isn’t very aggressive. So, I shouldn’t say ‘yes, yes you can’ but I’ve seen it done before and have not seen many negative effects reported. But if it were me, I’d pick a different size tire.

Ok, thanks for verifying what I thought. Looks like I'll be shopping for a set of 285/65/20s.

Thanks for the advise! Installed a Low Range Offroad 3/1 leveling kit and a set of 285/65/20 Venom Power Terra Hunter R/T's. Achieved just the look I was going for!

Had put on 2" spacers but they cause to the fronts to rub at less than full turn so they had to go. As of now, I left the spacers on the rear. Haven't decided yet if they will stay.

this is strictly my opinion, but I do not think OEM front offset and rear +2” offset will give your truck the best handling.

the tire you are running is the same in width as what I run (also on the stock rim) and there is no issues with fitment, or a need for spacers.

if anything, sell the spacers, purchase a rear sway bar to help negate the affects of the lift and taller tires.

Thanks, I will consider that. Haven't pushed it at all but haven't noticed any difference in routine handling. I understand that may not be the case under an emergency situation.
