Upgraded F/R bumpers to C4 aftermarkets. Should have pretty good clearance to fit bigger tires. I do offroad a decent amount. No lift. Planning to do a 3/1 Coilover lift in the future. Just ordered method 305's.

Are 33's going to fit my needs for what I want? This would include offroading and commuting. I have been looking at these - https://www.discounttiredirect.com/buy-tires/toyo-tire-open-country-a-t-ii/p/39807

    Alot of them
They will look too small with a lift. They are 32.5 in diameter and the stock tires are 32's. What is the offset for the wheels that you ordered? For a 3/1 lift, the common tire size is 285/70/18 ( just under 34) and the 295/70/18 (just over 34). Mine is a 3/2 and I'm on 285/70's. Both tires are within a half inch or so of each other. The 285's are 10 pounds per tire lighter, but less manufacturers offer that size.

    The wheels I got are the +25. Method 305 - https://www.methodracewheels.com/products/mr305-nv-bronze?variant=22806707585

I also don't have a lift currently. Would those bigger tires be able to squeeze in there with some rubbing until I can properly lift the truck? I do offroad - would the wider width of 12.5 be a sacrifice to go to the 285/70's?

I can maybe help a little. I am running stock suspension right now with 295/70r17 (+25 offset) and they fit fine. A little bit taller but an inch less in width. I did have to remove mud flaps and bend up the skid plate but most people already do that with larger tires.

Awesome. From what I see I should be okay in the time that I am not going to have a lift installed. Just want to make sure they will fit.

I had 285/70r17 KO2 and they didn't rub at all and had plenty of room. When I put billsteins on and set the front at 1.9 they looked too small. Just FYI.

If you want it to fit stock with minor modifications you need 275/70r18. You’ll probably wish you did the lift before tires though because once you get the lift you’ll want 285/75, 295/70, or true 35’s. I have 285/75 in 18 but when I get new tires I’ll go to 285/75r17 more than likely because now I want rims and slightly beefier stance. Also weight and diameter greatly affect power. When I drove to Arizona from SC I wanted smaller lighter tires the whole way. Also would love closer to stock mpg in this scenario.
These trucks handle tall tires better than wide.

Also why would you get the at 2 when the at3 is out unless it’s a huge discount. You’re getting old tire tech with the at2

Current tires on the truck are pretty worn. I ordered wheels due to not liking the look of the stock alloys and now looking at tires to get the current ones off the truck.

Trying to see if anyone has had 295/70R18's on to see if I can squeeze them until the lift gets installed for more clearance. I have aftermarket bumpers so trimming shouldn't be bad. The other option was going 33x12.5 although when the truck is lifted I don't really want to go through the trouble of remounting and balancing new tires and trying to sell the old ones.

at3 would be fine. They're very similar, I just linked the one I found first.

I think you’re on the right track with the 295/70. Most of the rubbing would have been in the bumper/skid area I’d guess and looks like that’s outta the way. I’m not 100 percent sure but I bet It will be tolerable.the width of the 12.5” will probably be more likely to be intolerable.

Ya, if I am reading all your previous posts correctly and you are going with a three inch lift or more with the C4 bumper you can easily fit 285/75R18 or 285/75R17. Look for a wheel with a +18 or +25 offset and you will want aftermarket UCAs just because they are better in all aspects vs stock UCAs. I am going to a 37x12.5x17 in Feb as an experiment. I have had both the Toyo MT and Cooper AT3 XLT in 285/75R18 with stock bumper and no BMC and had no rubbing anywhere or any issues. I am a staunch supporter that the three inch lift and 285/75R18 or R 17 is the perfect tire for our trucks. Most Americans want 12.5 wide because well Merica. But the 285 avoids so many issues by saving an almost imperceivable inch of width (insert jokes).

    Attached pic is as follows:
    Bilstein 6112 top setting (3in)
    Icon rear shocks/ CB+3 shackles
    Total Chaos UCAs
    Toyo MT 285/75R18
    Method 315 +18 offset 18in wheels
    C4 Overland bumper

No rubbing anywhere. I just got a BMC done to prepare for my 37” experiment but I had no rubbing prior to BMC anyways with current set up.

If you go to this link you can my my previous wheels and tires also. Post #16. Those are SCS 18 inch wheels and Cooper AT3 XLTs in 285/75R18.

Sounds awesome. Can't wait to see how it ends up.

Judging from the tire calculator 295/70/18's are a tad smaller than the 285/75R18 you mentioned. Definitely should not have an issue in that case. The main concern I had was that the tire was going to be to large to clear the UCA but the rims I got from method - 305 NV 18's have a 25 offset and stock is 60.

For a tire, I think I am going to go with the Falken wild peak AT.

I don't feel like replacing the tires once I get the lift so just squeezing them on now. lol

The Falkens are also a very popular tire on the forum as well. From what I read, they seem more popular with guys who live in areas with more chances of snow. I live in SC. It snows once a decade. Unless you go to a lawyers party.
