Went to discount to put them on and they’re saying it’s gonna rub. Ordered a 1/4 spacer gets here tomorrow. Anyone have any input on this? Tires are 12.50 wide

I may have the same rims and will post a photo. I hope to do this but after I do a leveling kit and a 2”-3” lift in hopes it won’t rub. IMG_0475.jpg

I've got 35x11.5 and mine barely fit. 12.5 will definitely rub.

So if I throw that 1/4 spacer it should be cleared right? Also have a Westcott coming soon

Westcott has several videos on trucks with 3/1 lift and 35x12.50 on stock 20" wheels with no issue.

Should’ve clarified. I’m wanting to do this before the lift is put on. 1/4 shims get here tomorrow and gonna get the 35’s on. Keep y’all updated!

What makes the 35s fit on the stock 20’s is the huge positive offset from the stock trd or platinum/1794 rims. Any spacer is actually going to make the rubbing, if any, worst as all it does is it pushes the wheels out.

What people uses the spacers on is the trd 3inch lift with 35s on stock 20’s as the tires rubs on the sway bar.

If you search the forum there have been people successfully put 35/12.5/20s on with no issues.

There are literally a hundred videos about this on YouTube

And I wouldn’t listen to some high schooler that works at discount tire

I didn’t put the shim on and it’s clearing the UCA. Still waiting on the westcott kit to come in.

I have the 3" lift with TRD 20" wheels. I've pretty much decided on the new Falken Wildpeak R/T in 35x11.5x20. Mostly because they are one of the only 35" that wasn't load E rated. Discount Tire has to order them in so I can't test-fit them first....I *think* they will fit fine with no rub based on my research. It seems most guys are switching out wheels also so it makes it hard to determine what tires fit with stock wheels. Interested to see your pics.

I see there are no mudflaps....rubbed them I assume? And did you have to pin back the fender liner also?

For some reason they had no mudflaps, not sure if the 24’s they decided to not include them on the SR5’s. I removed those brackets behind the liner and pinned it back and no rubbing anywhere.

Will changing the stock tires to bigger ones void warranty? I just got ‘24 TRD Pro.
