I’ve been doing a lot of research and thought I’d create my own thread for this. I’ve been running 295 65 R20 Toyo ATII on my stock rims for a couple years. I have a 3”/2” lift level kit and 1.25” spacers. They rubbed a bit so I removed the inner fender liners. I have less than 40k miles on these tires and they’re shot. Can’t get myself to buy a fresh pair of tires before winter ($1800??) so I found a nice used set, but they’re 35 12.5 R20 KO2’s. I’m having a fab shop put them on and try to keep cutting at a minimum. They think BMC will for sure be necessary and possibly more trimming elsewhere. Will post photos and and update when I get them installed tomorrow. The goal is to cut costs since tire prices are insane lately!

35s on stock +60 offset wheels will hit the UCA. So you will need different wheels with less + offset, +18 to +25 is good or you can use quality wheel spacers like borla or spidertrax.

You will probably have other rub areas, BMC may be needed and you may need spacer for front bumper.

Thanks for the info. I have spidertrax 1.25” spacers on right now. With the 295 65 R20’s on now there’s zero rub and a fair amount of room everywhere, so I’m curious how much work they’ll need to do. They want to put the front tires on and then they’ll be able to tell what the damage will be. They’re pretty confident BMC will be needed and possibly trimming of front fender.

They fit with zero trimming. At full lock on the ramp they barely touch the body mount, not enough to worry about. Not supposed to full lock the wheel anyways, so we’re good to go!

You have a good game plan and think with the BMC and front bumper shim kit you'll clear. its the width of the 35"x12.50" that'll get you.
