37R20 tires on 24 rims?

Hey guys,
My truck is on 20 rims + 37 tires. I want upgrade the rims to 24. Can I reuse the tires or need to match the 24 diameter?

I'm not sure if this is a serious question or not, but yes, you have to match the tire and wheel diameter. You cannot use 20 inch rims with tires that are made for 24 inch rims

 

What! You can't just cut away the excess material?

 

If in not mistaken this is how they get that “Sema” look. You know the 24” wide stretched out rubber band thickness sidewall.

In case this is serious...yes like mentioned above you need to match rim diameter to tire opening diameter otherwise you risk taking out 97 mailboxes and rolling off a cliff.
