What are the opinions of the air suspension option as it pertains to towing? Is it worth the added cost? Beneficial or not needed with a WD hitch? Does it add much weight? Thanks in advance.

I havnt had a chance to tow with mine but when I put a ton of pellets in the bed and started the truck it leveled out. The ride home was very controlled as I drive through the city on side streets. My past ford was not very smooth(
    porpoising
) and the Tundra was not. I think it's worth it IMO if your going to carry or tow. The owners manual explains how to use it with a wdh. I'm looking forward to my first tow!

I hated my air suspension when I first got my truck. It was a harsh sloppy ride. I did the tsb adjustment and thought it was a little stiff for my liking but now that I have some miles on it and some towing it is great. Had about 5-6k behind me a few weeks back for a couple hundred miles and it really is very good. It may have sagged about 1/2 if that. The ride with that load on the back was awesome. Didn't even know it was back there. I would still recommend a wd hitch for anything above 6k.

I adjusted some myself already. I’m aware there is a TSB. I specifically mentioned the TSB but the first part of the TSB says if you don’t replicate hitting bump stops don’t do anything else.

when I picked the truck up they said “the technician didn’t hear any noise.” I never said anything about noise. I said hits the bump stops. Trying to get a different dealer to adjust it when they do the fuel line and parking brake.

I had the air suspension on my last Toyota and on my 22 and love it. I tow a 6000lb boat and almost forget its back there. Also hauled 2000lbs in bed, which is more than it is rated for and it is very stable and ride is completely level. Make sure your tires are aired up if you haul heavy loads in the bed. Highly recommend getting it.
