3rd gen front tow hooks

    One thing that really surprised me when I first got back on here after buying my ‘24 was the amount of comments I saw about how the air dam would interfere with front tow hooks.
    I finally got under my truck this week and noticed that there is a ton of room under there. You could totally do a direct connection to the frame rails (and have the bolts oriented in shear). There is like 3” of clearance between the bottom of the frame rails and the hinge of the air dam.
    Toyota could have easily done it. Probably not that hard to retrofit if you’re willing to cut through the plastic. Makes me wish I had the time to make this part.

    Probably something to do with air dam folding back after it reaches speed. Why they didn't do it. But, they should have been able to come up with something.
