3rd Gen. Towing Mirrors

Question for you third generation tundra owners with tow mirrors. I've been looking at all the 2022 Tundra's online and in person I can and I'm wondering if the tow mirror option is only in the SR5 trim with the tow package? I think I want a limited but the tow mirrors are something that's really important to me. So far I haven't seen them available in the packages when you try to build a limited on Toyotas website. Sorry if this was discussed in another thread.

Yeah I’d like them as well I have a limited on order. If not I guess I’ll just have to buy them aftermarket. Or through dealer

 

Sucks for us up here north of the border. Currently the only way to get the towing mirrors in Canada is to buy a Platinum or higher trim. Which is stupid! The best towing trucks in the lineup from a tow and payload capacity don't get them and they cannot be ordered. Makes sense Toyota

So if anybody finds a good aftermarket solution please post it up here.

 

Do the tow mirrors also have blind spot monitoring? I'd like to upgrade to tow mirrors as well, but I wont if I lose that feature. Thanks

 

Yes, they do! Hopefully mine will come with them but waiting to see what “similar” options they’ll send me with the trim I specified.

 

BSM yes. Also they both auto dim. I’ve read that the “standard mirrors” only the drivers does. Can not confirm if that’s true or not since I’ve never seen one!

there are pricy! I forget exact price but Over $1k Canadian each!
