Here in Chicago yesterday we had a torrential downpour. Several people’s basements, the highway, even viaducts flooded. Many vehicles got stuck. This got me looking for snorkel options but I can’t seem to find anything for the 3rd generation Tundra. Has anybody had any luck finding any?

Definitely think twice about driving through deep water, one of the first spun engine bearings stories on a '22 TTV6 Tundra here on the forums, guy was doing stream crossings. Apparently the new airbox design loves to vacuum up the water? Would suggest to err on the side of caution.

The only place I know of that has production snorkel kits for twin turbo engines is Meredith Metalworks in AUS. Mainly because turbo & twin turbo engines (diesel and petrol) have been common down there for quite some time. They have a production kit for the twin turbo LC300 engine (similar to the 3rd Gen Tundra engine). It doesn't look too bad if you don't mind dual snorkel tubes.

If the Tundra becomes popular down there (doubtful, but possible) then maybe they'll R&D a production kit one day.

Are Tundras sold outside of the US?

Yes. I know they're all over China and other places in the Pacific markets. There are several Chinese companies that make knock-off RCI truck toppers for the 2022+ Tundra.

I've driven a Tacoma the past 11 years and some of the things I've seen made me embarrassed to even own the same vehicle.

I wouldn't be upset if a snorkel is never released for these.

    Great contribution Ryan, thanks.

It might be slick to incorporate where the Pro has the hood plastic piece.

That's a certain aesthetic alright, with a.. a look to it.

Reminds me of cat ears, actually.

Interesting, wonder how many peso's and the translation amount in dollars? If it's roughly the same 72-75k as U.S. that most would agree is super expensive then can't see them moving any units at all in a country with waaaaaay less income. Would of been interesting seeing comments but were shut off because I'd imagine the truth would look ugly.

Those flares are kinda badass. I think that truck would look better lowered, tbh.
