Did you buy the truck used? Sounds like there might be an LED bulb in there if all the signals are working

Check front and rear on the side that's blinking fast for two things, first to see if one is burnt out. The second(if it's not burnt out) check to see if one of the bulbs is an led light

They seem fine. But the front ones are out again. So I'll replace the front and the back this time. Just make sure I didnt overlook something

I went threw this today, I replaced a amber bulb with a clear bulb that had the exact bulb # I needed , I figured the casing is Amber and should be fine, if I put it on either side the light would work but the blinker would flash. Went to auto zone and got amber and problem solved

its the running light and blinker bulbs are the same bulb they run all the time when truck is running it will burn out the socket the bulb sits in it is a common problem you can replace the socket or dock for about $10 from dealer ship they usually have them in stock thats how common a problem it is mine done the same thing i haven't done it but they told me they could turn the running lights off then the bulbs would only be turn signals if i have any more problems thats my next move

Replace the bulbs with LED's after you change the socket, the will run cooler.

    Good luck

Just had this going on recently on the right front and realized I was not getting a positive seating in the socket. A little electric grease and it “clicked” in, going on 3 weeks and no issues.

I'm having this exact problem. Is your bulb still 'seated'? Which grease did you use?

For those suggesting to replace the socket, does anyone have a 'how to'??

    Thanks

They need to be pressed in fully. They need to snap into place, I've had this similar issue before where you replace the bulb and they cut out or have hyper blink even though they're new. I've pressed them in so hard I thought I was about to break the bulb, but snapped into place and worked perfectly. I haven't replaced those sockets in 13 years and even snapped a piece out of one of them and they still work fine. Mine are black and gray, half melted, like they've been sitting on the edge of the sun, but still work. Hope this helps someone.

How do you replace the socket? Do you have to remove the front grill to change the bulb? Looking for an excuse to upgrade to alpharex or something.
