Hi, I am new here, this is my first post. I have a 2021 SR5 with the stock gray 5 spoke steel rims on my cement tundra. They are very blah on the cement color. There are a lot of 3rd gen wheels (rims and tires) for sale in my area.

I was curious if anyone is aware of a spacer to go from the 2.5 gen 5 lug to the 6 lug requirement. Not concerned about the width of the spacer, smaller is probably better. I'd hope the spacers would be hub centric but I am not super familiar - I have read the 2.5 gen hub is 110mm and the 3 gen hub is 95mm, so maybe this is not even possible?

I know there are a lot of aftermarket wheels for my 2021, however, there are some really great deal in my area for new 3rd gen take off for wheel packages.

I tried to use the search function but wasn't able to find anything specific - so apologize if this has been asked and answered 100 times before!

    Thanks
    JJ

    Welcome from NY.

I would stay away from the 3rd Gen wheels because you are probably adding about $500 for the spacers. I'm sure you can find wheels that you would like cheaper or the same price as the 3rd Gen wheels + spacers. JMHO

I wouldn’t bother. The load is supposed to rest on the hub. The only 2 brands I trust for spacers/adapters are Spidertrax and Bora and I don’t know if they make that particular adapter. It would have to be 110mm inner diameter to be hub centric on the truck, and have a 95mm hub lip for the wheel to sit on and remain hub centric. You don’t want to see your wheels come off and go past you on the highway.

First time I have seen this specific question and there are alot of third gen take offs for sale right now I have noticed too. But I would steer clear of spacers and buy the 2nd gen 18” alloy wheels which there are many for sale as well. They are 30lbs and look pretty good. There are the black offroad variety 2.5gen ones too which weigh a little more. You can also Duplicolor/Vht paint your steel wheels whatever color too for 30$. The method 5x150 options are great too and reasonable price/weight. If you can somehow find rock warrior wheels those are awesome.

Thanks for the responses - there are some good points above for sure that definitely lead me towards excluding the 3rd gen wheels. There are several new 3rd gen new take off's with tires for 800-1000 dollar around here which made it very tempting.
