Can anybody point me in the direction of the service manual for the 3UR-FE for my 2014 Tundra SR5 5.7L. I have a blown head gasket and have to change it, I'll likely do timing chain tensioners and water pump while I'm in there. Cheers

The official answer here is that this is available through Toyota Information Services as an online subscription service. There isn’t a “printed” manual. Now I do know that somewhere in the internet there’s a 7000-ish page pdf file that someone printed and cobbled together from that online subscription for the 2015 “Factory Service Manual” but “officially” that document is subject to copyright and isn’t hosted on this site.

I miss the days of being able to purchase the Toyota Factory Service Manual at the dealership. I bought one for my 1993 LandCruiser and it has everything you would want to know in them. Big ass book but nice to have. Much better when you get it in smart PDF form

That PDF is not navigable and searchable, it is just a giant heap of screenshots glued together.

I'm thinking on if I dare enough to bite a bullet and buy the last set of repair manual for an early gen2 Tundra. It costs a lot and would have a lot of differences with my 2019, of course. It would apply more to wife's 2022 Sequoia, which is still Gen2 based. Maybe I should.

Ebay, search for 132745376790. I just went ahead and bought a 7 volume set for 2011 Sequoia. Engine/transmission is the same, everything else I'll be able to figure out. Wife drives Sequoia anyways. It was $100 cheaper, too :)

If you have multiple Toyota/Lexus vehicles, $500/year isn't that bad in my opinion.

I agree with that. Some subscription services are insanely expensive (ie. Porsche). I think those are > $3000/year.

But the alternative that I have experienced is the inconvenience of setting up and constantly updating "unofficial" factory service manuals and diagnostic software/equipment.

Looks like I can download a web copy. Not sure if it will work for you, but it works for me. I’ll need details on your truck and also your email.

Idk if you’ve figured this out yet, but I got my service manual from Rock Auto. I use the Dave graham version, it’s a big pdf so it’s not the fastest thing but it is searchable and I haven’t come across anything it didn’t have.
