Thank you for sharing that my truck is 4wd and it currently has I believe a 2or 2.5 lift
It came like that when I bought it.

Ah. To be honest, there isn’t much more you can do without getting the full 6 inch drop bracket lift, such as pro comp, bds, rough country

I honestly don’t know a whole lot about trucks and lifts but, I thought I would find some good answers here from the Pros For me is more about the looks I really like the way lifted trucks look and I also wanted to find out what the pros and cons about lifting a truck are.

Yeah right on man. There are tons of reviews in write ups on here to pick through.

basically the design of our suspension has a reasonable range in which you can add height before you start having issues with wear components(cv boots, ball joints, even alignment). 2.5 is that sweet spot imo. Going over that you are really pushing the margins of our suspension design imo. There are a few products out there offering 4 inches of lift for the tundra without being a full lift kit, but they will cause issues, and ride like total crap

To go higher, the 6 inch lifts come into play, which reset all that suspension geometry just relocated lower, thus raising the truck up.

Truly appreciate all the great info and sharing your knowledge I honestly have been having issues with tire rubbing ever since I ditched the stock 20’s and replaced them with Fuel wheels. that’s kinda why I’ve been considering lifting higher.

Search BMC on the forums. The wider set wheels cause the tire to hit the body mount. You can trim/plate that mount and then you will fit your current tires perfect. I did mine when i had that same issue.
