Can anyone help me to why 4hi/4lo lights are flashing and abs/traction control lights are on. I’ve already replaced wheel sensor with oem and wheel bearing and front driver side cv axel with after market autozone/ advance auto parts parts and light are still on. harness is good too
Could the aftermarket cv axel and front wheel bearing be the reason for it to still have those warning lights? Codes are front not reading driver side front wheel sensor

The axle and bearings wouldn't give you any codes. Did you clear the codes after you replaced the sensors? Also might be a good idea to disconnect the battery for a bit if you haven't done this already.

Yes cleared codes and disconnected battery also cleaned wheel sensor because before it was dirty with grease but now it’s completely clean. comes back one after putting it in drive after a few seconds. You can hear the abs whining and if I brake you can feel this vibration. I took it to Toyota to diagnose they want to replace axel and wheel bearing with oem because they’re aftermarket before they can actually diagnose

Would could cause the sensor to not read properly? Wheel sensor has been replaced and also tried with new harness

First off, can you tell us what year truck you have? The ABS whining and vibration adds a new complexity to your problem other then just flashing lights now.

2016, so when I first start my car, the abs and traction control lights are on. When I start driving I can hear what sounds the the abs starting to go off and when I brake it hits back until I let go and I pick up speed then the 4hi 4lo start flashing along with the abs and traction control light staying solid and drives and brakes normally

That's very strange. So you're still getting a code for a front wheel sensor, correct?

Yes all comes to that speed sensor not reading properly but the rest are. Even has code for blind spot monitor and the fault is for that speed sensors. So this is the events that happened previously. 3in lift, no issues, bigger tires that’s when I found that cv axel and wheel bearing where bad. Replaced both. Drove fine for a week then this happened ever since

I know you said you replaced all the sensors with OEM, but maybe you got a bad sensor. Are the sensors interchangeable right to left?

No, but I can swap with a rear one and see what happens.

That's what I would do, swap the sensor, clear the codes, and that will rule in or out a bad sensor.

Let us know how you make out, if its the same code, we can take it from there. Good luck.

I had the same problem, turned out to be a broken wire leading to abs sensor. Follow the wires back and see what you find.

Yep, I am dealing with this on my 2016 as well. Mine started with the "trailer brake controller error" and started making noises in the dash eventually switched to the ABS/ Trac Control light flashing. I figured it was a speed sensor, hooked up my diagnostic and it said left rear ABS sensor. Bought a denso sensor at Napa and it still is acting up, taking it to a shop next week to see if they can figure it out. I am going to switch the front and rear sensors on driver side. I may have a faulty wiring harness but this truck has been treated easily, no hard off roading or mudding. It does see lots of dirt roads, a rock may have flew up and hit something.

    Sounds like an ABS sensor
