20230225_142039.jpg I have a 2011 5.7 tundra and recently experienced the 4x4 traction control limp mode, could not go over 55mph. After scouring this forum I was able to find a solution thank you! Initially, I thought it was smog evap pump, which I replaced by removing psngr side front wheel well cover, removing hoses and replacing. This did not fix my problem, so I investigated further and after finding TONS of mouse turds I dug into replacing the knock sensor harness (28 bucks on ebay plus intake gasket 13 dollars). Utilizing tape to identify all the lines it was fairly straight forward, most difficult part being removing some of the lines up near the firewall. I am NOT a mechanic, but if you are experiencing these symptoms described above, check out your harness especially if you find mouse turds! Truck fired right up and no more engine lights!

Wear a hepa mask also haunta virus is real and it's no joke, and be very cautious when removing intake cover as to not drop anything into valves. I covered valve holes and vacumed the turds out, then vacumed the top of the open valves just to ensure nothing got into motor
