5 reason why I picked 275/70/15 tire.

    1. I could get by with a small level lift.(1.3 inch) This in it self is not an advantage and in hindsight I probably would have changed it to 1.9 inch but the advantage is not extreme CV angles.
    2. The weight of the 275 70 18 tire is a lot less.
    3. I can retain the factory mud flap which keeps rocks from hitting the paint when they get stuck in the tire and fly out when you are back on the pavement.
    4. Less effect on braking and acceleration.
    5. I GPS the speed and at 65 mph the speedometer is the same or maybe 1/2 mph slower. I read from the factory the speedometer was 1/2 mph fast.

Can you snap pics from another angle?

How much do they stick out from side?

I'm probably after something similar. Gets a better look but is suited for everyday use.

All of the same reasons that I went with 275 70 18's. I'm on 5100's, middle setting and Cooper XLT's and couldn't be happier with the look and ride. Reason #6, if I went much higher than it sits now I'd have to raise the header on the garage. Stupid 7' garage doors lol.

I did the same. I am running 275/70/18 Falkens with stock wheels and 1.25” spidertrax. I have Toytec coilovers up front with adjustable shackles and icon shocks in the rear. The tires don’t look small imo.

I'm at 2.5", 1.5" with 275/70/18 and Spidertrax spacers. This is a good tire size if you don't want to deal with any rubbing or speedo issues. Huge improvement over stock tires.

Anyone run these with 20" wheels?

Was wondering if I could repurpose my Platinum wheels at this size.

Do you need the spacers? What purpose do they serve? I'm tire shopping now and this is the size I want

    Are you lifted at all?
    I would consider a 285/60/20. 33.5" tall which is about a 1/4" taller and 10 MM wider than my Cooper AT3 XLT's. The 275/60/20's are 33" tall.
    You can compare sizes here:

No need for spacers other than stance. The factory wheels have a 60MM offset. Spacers put them close to a 25MM offset which works well on these trucks if you go aftermarket.

Believe I'm going to pull the trigger on 6112 (1.9) and the 5160 in rear. Still undecided on a rear shackle to keep a slight rake.

    Thanks for that link.

I'm sure this has been answered a thousand times . . . . Can 275/70/18s fit with no lift on TRD sport wheels? I'm not afraid to chop

I get a slight rub on the driver side backing up. I think the alignment shop can move the tire back a 1/4 inch as the driver side is 1/4 inch foward.

They seem to get very good feedback, provide a great ride on the pavement (where I am 99.5%), gets the truck up to level, relatively inexpensive.

It would not rib if the rims were stock, but the scs rims have a negative 25 offset. Stock is negative 60.

Billsteins have great reviews for sure. I'm between the 6112 and the Fat Bobs

Factory wheels have a positive 60 offset, SCS have a positive 25 offset. Yes this does increase the chance for rubbing, shouldn't be an issue with this size tire and small lift. Might have to remove the spat in front of the tire.

Here's how much they stick out with scs negative 25 mm offset.

1.25" spacers for now, I have plans for aftermarket wheels in the future.

I am running FBG with the Bilstein 5100's. I have no complaints, ride is great. The reason I went with them was the ease of adjust-ability without having to remove the coil over. I really like the 6112's but the cost and adjustment without removal on the FBG sold me. I am on the street most of the time so they work for me.

Ditto what you said. Adjustability and price are why I'm digging the FBG. I spend a bit of time off-road, but its the beach. Beaches are flat, I don't care about articulation! I care about catching waves and fish!

This is where the FBG shine. If you want to adjust after your initial setup you can, just need to get alignment checked which would also be required if making adjustments on 6112. Now when will someone make this setup for the 6112's? Maybe to costly.

I like you're solid black grill in the first photo - I'm looking to order one because my 2019 Limited has a chrome grill ( I hate it - I hate chrome) . Any reasonable after market companies you could suggest ?
    Thanks !
I'm also going to have the adjacent grill area painted and the two front CHROME bumpers as well . (Our trucks are similar if not identical in color - I really like the look of your front - that's what I'm going for.
