Anyone have a ball joint go out on them within 50k miles? Got a 2020 pro about to hit 50k and pretty sure drivers side upper ball joint is bad. Squeaking like a mofo, but still not sure 100% where it's coming from. Everything from underneath is tight and looks normal, nothing leaking.

Check your skid plate bolts. That TRD plate has been known to be noisy. If I remember correctly, people put some rubber bushings between the plate and the frame to fix it. There's info on the forum if you search.

It might also just be your ball joint.

Yea fixed the skid plate long time ago, got some rubber under it. Really can't pinpoint where this is coming from, sounds like a ball joint to me, but I dunno. Got a video but it won't let me post it in here for some reason

I guess it's possible it still could be the skid plate bolts though, I'll check it out when I get some time

Or the sway bar. Good luck. Not fun chasing that stuff down.

My 2019 will squeak first thing next in the morning when I step on the running board. Just a little squeak/noise. Next time I step on it there is nothing. Has me wondering.

If it’s your ball joint, turning the wheel side to side usually makes it squeek. Just listen to the older fords when they turn into a parking lot.

Has to be posted elsewhere and then linked. Stick it on yootoob and then just paste the link in a post and it'll show up properly.

That's how it started. Steadily gotten worse

Actually turning the wheel to full lock stops it from squeaking ‍♂️

I have something similar on the driver side front, except it’s like a click or popping sound, happens when I step on my slider but when I bounce on it it won’t do it again but when I am in reverse/drive with the steering wheel turned doing slow speed maneuvers it will make that popping noise, I was told it could be the skid plate but I don’t see how, none of the steering or suspension assemblies seem to come close enough to make contact with the skid plate
