Will a 2015 Tacoma 6 lug wheel fit a 2001 6 lug Tundra? Research tells me both are 6x139.7 but I need to be sure before laying out the money. Thanks.

According to wheel-size.com 2015 was 5 lug. 2016 Tacoma has the same lug pattern and hub size as the first gen Tundra.

depending on model they have different offsets though. So they may stick out too far or may rub the frame depending on which way they're offset differently.
Would suggest a test fit on the front to make sure.

All full size Tacomas, not the smaller 5 lug models have the same lug pattern and hub bore diameter as our trucks, but you may have issues with offset and such so the wheels may be too sunk in.

Upper photo is my wheel, lower is the Tacoma wheel. I'm not seeing much of a difference in offset but opinions?

You can't calculate out offset by looking at the face of a wheel. You need a straight edge and a tape. Measure from the rear edge of the lugnut to the lip of the wheel (to a flat surface spanning between two lips). That will give you your backspacing. Once you figure out your backspacing then your width and you can calculate offset pretty easily based on the width of the rim.

Will physically bolt up. Not all 16" wheels fit if you have the 13wl brakes.

interwebs says taco wheels are 28-32mm offset and the tundras are 13-17mm.

wheels usually have the offset stamped on the inside to be specific.

A little searching turned up several photos right here on the forum of the Taco wheels on a Tundra, including this one so it looks good. I appreciate the responses.

Not going for look. The Tacos have nearly new snows on them for less than the tires alone would cost so they'd become the Winter tires, on in Nov, off in Mar..

Pretty sure that was a stock option? I feel like we went back and forth over this for a while, but can’t recall what year. Like ‘04 or something? I think it was in the catalogs. EDIT: maybe I’m thinking of the ones that had a square-ish cutoff toward the hub.
