Yeah I’ve seen that. But heard that the pro comp lift doesn’t ride that well but I don’t know if they were running blocks or full coil overs I know that pro comp has quality stuff

    In the "Zone"...
the six inch procomp stage 2 has coil overs and then to make it the 7 inch they use pre-load spacer. rear would be blocks still probably.
honestly the icon or fox replacements are nice, will ride a little better.

Yeah the big reason why I was looking at the sky jacker kit was because it runs fox coil overs in the front and all the problems I have been reading about bds lifts I don’t want to sacrifice my ride on my tundra it’s the best riding truck I have ever owned comparing it to my 01 Sierra and my 07 ram

Iam still torn between bds and sky jacket it’s been 50/50 on the reviews for bds not sure how good the rear skyjackers shocks are because of them running fox coil overs in the front and skyjacker brand shocks in the rear and I plan to do the install myself on the lift to help me save some money

What’s the issue with the BDS lift? I’ve had zero issues with mine.. zero. One or two people saying that they are junk or has issues ain’t telling the story. Many tundras around here running them, no issues either.

I haven’t had any alignment issues yet. The truck tracks straight, no clunking, squeaking, etc. I hear about alignment issues on a lot of lifts. I believe that some of the issues are related to the install and the shop that does the alignment. There are not a lot of shops that cant align a lifted truck correct, they have to have some experience. Look on this forum or Tacomaworld , look at the questions about alignment, exspecially with leveling trucks with 5100’s or similar setups. There are many great lift kits for our trucks, but the lift ain’t worth a damn if you have a crappy install or an alignment shop that lacks experience with lifted trucks.

I’m fine with my lift, zero issues. I wish I would have upgraded the lift with the coilovers, but I wanted to spend that money on my stereo. I don’t regret anything with my lift. Maybe one day I will upgrade to the coilover, but it’s a lot of money that I could use elsewhere. I’m sure the skyjacker lift is a good lift, as is Pro Comp, and Rough Country. Do your research and make a decision buy asking around. Don’t cheap out on the install. Find the best place in your area and go with them, not the lowest price. They will know what place to take it for alignment. Keep us updated !
