A.R.E caps prices$$$$$

What are you guys getting your ARE z, cx, or overland caps for including install.

Are the delays from ARE truly bad?

I have a gen2 silver sky DC and looking to get a cap with basic stuff.

LEt me see those invoices.

 

I think there is a big thread on this already. In short, there are long lead times right now and you will pay anywhere from 1500 to 5000 installed new depending on style and features. A used one if you can find are much cheaper generally.

 

2500 for a new ARE CX series. outdoorsman windoors on all 3 sides. felt carpet and few other goodies.

was told 8-10 weeks but wouldnt be surpised if it gets delayed

 

Prices have jumped again. In Canada, a loaded out Z series with racks and toys will probably run close to $5k CAD installed.

 

What?! Isn't that their cheapest low end cap? Any idea what a basic one with nothing would start at right now?

looks like most of the tundra guys are using the Z and the cx caps. I saw one guy intown with the overland version.
Guess it depends on usage and functions.

I saw the thread on the ARE delays. Is that the one?

 

A basic no carpet CX should be around $3700 still. But it will take a looong time to get.

Edit: Canada info, based on my latest knowledge.

 

Egad! I admittedly checked prices before the pandemic but most caps I found were between $2300 and $3200.

 

The made in the USA ones have really gone up. Shipping during the pandemic and demand in the states.

 

I'm in Central Calif. and have a great ARE for sale. Fits a 3rd gen DC 6.5 foot bed. Overland CX (Black Linex style coating) fully optioned with a Baja Rack mounted on built in rails. I'm not sure where to post it for sale. Please let me know.
