Hey guys, anyone have any experience with these tow mirrors from 1A Auto I’ve seen some older posts but nothing on these new ones. Kinda pricey at $562, has all the platinum and 1794 specs (plug n play) Comes with a cool looking spot light you would have to wire yourself. There’s an install video on YouTube as well. Any issues? I don't know anything about those mirrors, but it's a crazy coincidence that you posted this. I literally just got home from picking up a set of the OEM mirrors from the dealer when I got the email notice that you had started this thread.

Now trying to decide if I want to attempt the install in the 28 degree weather or wait for Sat when it's supposed to be near 60.

I just installed my tow mirrors. This mod might be something to consider:

I purchased these exact mirrors about the beginning of December. I have a 19 platinum they were going on. Had a 13 that I traded in that I put tow mirrors in and I really missed that big field of view in the blind spot.

fwiw- these gm style mirrors are built solidly. Bolted in there was no movement whatsoever. The lights were nice and seemed like a good quality mirror. I had to run the wires for the spotlight and running light through the boot in the door but that wasnt a big issue.

HOWEVER- after 10 days the passenger power fold stopped working. If it was in the extended position I could have lived with it for a while. But alas it was in the folded in position. I contacted 1aauto and much to their credit the issued me a full refund. They didn't even want the mirrors back. They said to try donating to a local auto body program. So they sit in the basement for the time being until I decide to do something with them or get tired of tripping over the box.

These are nice mirrors with good field of view. Adjusted correctly it virtually eliminated the blind spot. There just seems to be ongoing issues with the powerfold mechanism in hese aftermarket tow mirrors.

A little of this and a little of that.
Nice idea finally here for our Tundras. Three power fold feature is great but not necessary for me.

Man, if these had a more modern turn signal light instead of the spaced LED's I'd be in.

I obtained a set of these, the running lights are not pre-wired on my 2017 Tundra Platinum and 1Aauto has no solution for correct wiring except to tell you -- go figure it out yourself.

Now the latest contact with 1Aauto and their lack of support... My passenger side running/marker LENS was recently shattered** and again the response from 1Aauto is go figure it out for yourself! Chat said try Partfinder DOT com but it took me to 1Aauto- go figure. Or you could replace them (only sold in pairs) for original price, eliminate the need for $10-20 part. Gotta love sales driven companies. If they are highlighting customer service, it is because it is almost non existent.

** I hit someone else's large mirror on a narrow roadway. If you get used to the original Tundra (small) mirrors like I did for 15 years, there is a learning curve coming.
