? About 2015 sr5 TSS

Random and maybe stupid question... what are the things above the tires w the bolts called? and can I remove them or add black bolts instead of chrome??

I have a 2015 SR5 TSS

fender flares. depends on brand and type. some are actual bolts, some are fake bolts. They can be painted/replaced if actual bolts

Any idea at what size of bolt they are so I can try and take one out to see if they're real bolts? or how I would find out lol

 

Fender flares are usually held in by about 8-10 screws inside the wheel well. Easy to remove. Then you can see if the bolts are removable. Most of the time the bolts you are referring to serve no purpose other than decorative and can be changed. You can take one out and go to a hardware store to find a replacement.
