As the title says, when I turn the ac on, it blows cold out of the driver and hot out of the passenger. It's an SR5 with single zone control so there's no passenger blender door. I pulled apart the driver side actuators and blenders and they looked fine and operational. Any other suggestions besides AC charge?

How long have you had this problem? It takes like a half hour to get to a nice level on very hot days. I role down the windows for like 5 minutes until I feel cooler on my skin then role them up half way at that time. Then again when cooler I role them up until they are open like two inches at that time I role RF and LR windows all the way up leave it like that until comfortable. Set the AC to the floor and leave the RR cracked helps push the hot air out.

    Toyota AC success.

Had the same problem. But in winter and it sucked. I am guessing it’s the blend door has failed and the whole unit needs to be replaced. 2500$. They have to take dash out. The HVAC system. Ya it sucks ass

It probably servo assembly. I have the same issue and also my hvac has a delay at start up. Its a pain in the a** to get to. Will be working on mine next week. The part is about $120. Good info here:

Is the passenger side full heat or just warmer then the driver side with the a/c on?

Either hvac box issue with the internal doors very rare or a low freon charge. The low freon will only cool half the evaporator core causing the driver side to be cold and passenger side to be warmer.

There is about a one minute delay for my hvac to turn on when I start the truck. That tells me the doors are not in the proper position.
